A magnificent place to stay and relax
We spent three nights at La Casta as a couple, and it was exactly what we were looking for: a quiet place to unwind for a few days.
The hotel is situated a bit higher up, surrounded by trees and fields, with a beautiful view of Patate. From the reception, the entire team was attentive, and this continued throughout the stay. A truly pleasant atmosphere.
On the culinary side, the menu changes daily but remains of high quality, with a variety of traditional dishes. Our favorite: lunch, a chicken with mushroom sauce that reminds us of a good French meal. Breakfast and dinner follow the same line.
The real plus is the pools. Several heated pools, well-maintained, including one semi-outdoor where one can truly enjoy relaxing. The room was comfortable, modern, and clean, with daily housekeeping and reliable wifi! There is also a laundry service if needed.
Additionally, Baños is 30 minutes away. It is especially recommended for couples, those in need of rest, but also for families.

A very beautiful stop at La Casta
We had a very warm welcome from Anna and Adrian as well as his parents. The rooms are very comfortable and stylish. We really enjoyed the pool which has a beautiful view of the mountains as well as the sauna. We were able to attend a cooking class, it was great! The restaurant is magnificent and the meal was succulent. We ate the best breakfast of our trip with homemade rolls. It was a great discovery in a charming and quiet place. A place to recommend!!!

Fascinated with the place
It's a beautiful place, you breathe peace. The Staff Service is excellent and personalized. I am also fascinated with the pools and they are not cold. The food is otherworldly. It delights everything. Recommended if you want to disconnect, rest and eat rich. Here they spoil you.

A Paradise in Patate
It is a very cozy place, the people who serve you are very helpful and supportive, they helped us with a van to go to the waterfall and were attentive to any request.
The food is very delicious, especially the daily menu.
The rooms are simple but have what is necessary, as a suggestion to fix the doors to enter the shower and change or remove the floor mats on the beds…
The rooms have clean sheets and pillows.
The infrastructure of the pools is perfect for going with children, I like more that they require you to wear a swimming cap, that helps keep everything impeccable.
The food is very delicious, especially the daily menu.

Lovely place, lovely people
My husband and I stayed at La Casta, which is about 500m out of town ($1.25 by taxi from bus terminal or $1 from the centre of Patate) for three nights in an upstairs room with nice views of the fields up the mountain. The family looked after us superbly. The breakfasts were lavish, and we particularly liked the different piece of cake every morning, which was packed up for us to take along because we just couldn't fit it in. The dining room opens to an englassed breakfast room on one side, from which we could watch the farmers work and their children play. The dinners we had in the onsite restaurant were excellent and competitively priced, as was the laundry service. The wifi worked well, and there is a sizable heated swimming pool complex on the property, which guests staying over night can use for free. When we needed transport to the Cascada de Mundug, the son was asked to drive us up. We enjoyed our stay at La Casta thoroughly and recommend it wholeheartedly.
