A good place

Good place to stay in Gdansk. There is nothing extra in the room, but everything you need is present: kettle, hairdryer. The room is clean with a shower. The staff is friendly and speaks a little Russian. English no problem. The price is average, you can find cheaper ones. I recommend!

Excellent hotel

Small hotel. Check-in was late. Parking is free. The room has everything you need. Breakfast is good. There is a choice. The price is reasonable. The hotel is located near the center, there are shops and a shopping center nearby. There is a spa.

Cheerfull and friendly family run hotel

Quiet cheap and only a 10 minute bus to the Old Town.Plenty of buses 115,130,184,and 210
Good Breakfast
Nothing to fault

Friendly, cheap and cheerful.

Stayed a couple of nights on a b&b basis. We were a party of 2 couples and were each given rooms with a single and a double bed. Cost worked out at about £25 pp pn. Rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. Coffee / Tea / Hot Chocolate available on each floor with unlimited amounts available on a self serve basis. Breakfast was self-serve cold buffet and / or hot breakfast (cooked to order) with plenty available. Staff very helpful -spoke good English and were able to direct us to nearby restaurant/s for evening meals. Secure parking was also included in the price (as long as you returned before midnight!).

Alright but nothing wonderful

Stayed at the ABAK for a week in September. We arrived late and although we had confirmed this twice with them there was no one around to let us in, eventually someone did appear tho.
The Room was a double, but very small. We have stayed in bigger rooms in Japan! Having said that we could see other rooms when the doors were opened and they were bigger. Old fashioned but ok, good bathroom, wardrobe, bed. Bed was very soft, a double - but two single quilts, and one very squishy pillow each.
It was very cold in the room, glad it was September only. Maybe they have warmer bed clothes for winter....
Communal fridge, tea and coffee machine were useful.
The Breakfast was great, a bit random - changed, every day, but basically a buffet style including salad, fish, bread, cheese meat, with a few exrtras every day. could order scrambled eggs as well.
As regards cleaning, we got new towels most days, but our sheet on the bed was not changed once. Found this a bit inexcusable really. That was it. We went in search of toilet paper oourselves....
Location, it is about 2km out of the city centre, which is fine, The buses run all the time if you want them but we walked in to the city, didn;t take lond. Taxi back at night from the station was about 14plz. so didn;t mind that at all.
OK stay. we don't spend long in the room so not a problem, but basic is the word. To be honest, we didn;t want a bad atmosphere so didn't complain, so don't know if they would have sorted more out or not. It was fine for us but if you want something a bit more plush go somewhere else.
