Met our expectations

We were looking for a basis for a championship, it met our expectations without waiting more than it offers. We found a clean place, a professional and friendly treatment, with 100% availability. Adrian and his v family are very good hosts.

Clean, nice and cozy.

I will definitely repeat, both me and my dog, we felt very comfortable with all the staff, the room, everything clean, excellent breakfast and the location as added is great.

Cleanliness and respect for the silence of all guests.

It was an important week. It was the first time we participated in the Salinas Longboard Surf Festival opening our Byron Colors swimsuit stand. And it was quite a success. Many hours spent in which rest manifested itself as the main part of the day and in which thanks to Cactus I was able to have a splendid stay for its facilities, cleanliness, and respect. Also if you needed anything, like dropping off luggage, the surfboard, or some important information they were always there to respond and assist you in the best way. Thank you so much for that. A very cozy place where I rested and was able to recover from crazy hours of work and surfing! We'll be back next year!

Surfer's hotel in Salinas

I arrived in the late afternoon and called the number on the door-- the landlady came very quickly (I think that the Cactus is connected with a nearby surfer's school) and let me in. She was very helpful and spoke English well. The room was small, but very clean. As others commented, there is a good price-quality ratio. I went to the asador restaurant beside the Cactus, and dinner was reasonable and of good quality. Sleep was difficult, partly because my room faced on the street and partly on account of a very affectionate couple next door. Breakfast was ready early, and better than the standard Spanish breakfast. If you can manage a room facing the back and if your neighbours are less athletic, it is a good pilgrim stop.

100% recomendable

¡Experiencia increíble! El Hostel súper limpio, tranquilo y la escuela de surf a 3 min. andando. Víctor, Lu y Raúl te hacen sentir como en casa, atentos y cercanos en todo momento. Tienen un bar con cócteles, batidos, smoothies... Meriendas muy, muy ricas. Sin duda repetiré.
