Very comfortable bed, good bathroom, reasonable temperature for time of year. Laundry room has 5 industrial washing machines and 5 industrial dryers, costs A$15 for the day, you can do as many washes as you like. Opposite is New Sydney Hotel, best pub in Hobart, good food, beer, whiskey and live music. Plenty of other restaurants and pubs nearby

Filthy rooms

Filthy rooms. after checking in and paying $250 bond and almost $30 per night for parking. We went to our room. It was filthy the amount of dust along the edges of the walls and near the bed was unbelievable. There was mould on the ceilings. Even the entrance to the lift was revolting. We told the staff that we would no longer be staying as the room cleanliness was not suitable for someone immune compromised.We were not given any kind of refund for the 2 nights accommodation We followed up the next day and got a refund for the bond and also on our parking. The reception Staff were nice. It is not their fault that the rooms were so disgusting.
Stay clear, especially if you have health conditions

Not happy, definitely not 4 star

I suggest find somewhere else to stay. Photo are not what you get. Rooms were dirty and had to pay to get rooms cleaned if not staying for more than a week. You had to pay high price for parking in Hotel, you had to pay to get room cleaned, you had to pay to use laundry facilities. For all these extras stay somewhere else. Definitely not 4 star. More 2.5 star. Our rooms wasn't even finished.

All good and handy to hospital

It was not too bad - remember parking is not free so add $30 a night to the rate when factoring cost

Horrible

Horrible. Rooms are very average, they charge additional for parking but don’t mention this when booking very harsh last minute expense. To have your room “serviced” eg. fresh towels, fresh sheets, bins taking out is another additional expense. Not really sure what I paid for? Will never recommend or return.
