Beautiful boutique hotel in Thimpu

A beautiful new boutique hotel with just 40 rooms facing the golden Buddha at a distance. Rooms are spacious with windows to get the cool breeze and done in wood .
Breakfast and Dinner has a spread of mostly Indian food. Cappuccino and Mocha for breakfast are complimentary. We requested for some non vegetarian food and staff were happy to oblige. Easy to get a ride into the city which is about 15 minutes away.

Place full of warmth of people.

Access Suites is a very nice and cozy place. We got a jr. suites combined room with small kitchen and living area and two bedrooms. We played cards in the common living room area. Food is nice . Staff polite and friendly. Ginger lemon tea as welcome drink was Absolutely Superb. Hotel was v clean, and noise level was low.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at

We stayed at this hotel during our recent Bhutan trip. What a tastefully decorated hotel, The suites are massive . The bathrooms are very spacious . We had a bedroom , sitting room and the suite was like a one bedroom apartment . The restaurant downstairs served very good food and the staff predominantly women were exemplary in their service. I would stay here again if I went back to Thimphu

Clean spacious rooms with kind friendly staff. A little away from the centre but only a short taxi ride. Food was excellent too.

Cozy Retreat with Friendly Staff

Great stay with Access Suites! Room was lovely with wooden accents all over. Large living area separate from the sleeping room. Room had a balcony to enjoy coffee (provided free) upon waking up in the morning. Lots of windows in every room to allow natural light in!
Things We Loved: super friendly staff! Everyone from the check-in desk to the servers in the restaurant were so kind. They even made a few jokes with us and always made sure to come check on us whenever we were eating in the restaurant or sitting in the lobby waiting to be picked up. The food in the restaurant was actually fantastic as well! We didn’t eat off the buffet which it seemed a lot of people staying there had included with their tour package. We were given menus to order items and we were very happy with everything we ordered. We didn’t expect such tasty food from a hotel.
Things To Improve: Not much really. The living area has a floor level couch that was difficult to get in and out of for me as a relatively fit younger person. I couldn’t imagine someone older or with physical limitations ever using it. Also the hotel shower pressure could use a little adjustment.
Overall it was a great stay with Access Suites and have zero issues staying there again or recommending them to other travelers!
