Awesome experience on the doorstep of the Tahai statues

Stayed with my son and we had an awesome experience at Cabañas Moai , Easter Island The owner picked us up at the airport and dropped us off our departure. Always available to assist with any odour needs. Location is perfect and so close to the Tahai statues, sunset is a must. Also walking distance for the town centre and restaurants. Highly recommended

The best place

Stayed in Jan for 5 davs with my partner. We both loved this place.
The property was spacious and full of character. It
had an actual moai in the garden and a view of one
of the bigger moai could be seen against the sea from the lovely balcony. Rene (the host) was extremely friendly and helpful and he kindly picked us up from the airport.
The walk to the town was beautiful (and safe) and you passed the moai on the way. The sunsets there were incredible and there is a nice restaurant nearby
It would really be hard for it to have been better.

Lovely comfortable stay

Cabanas Moai is a small comfortable cabin environment run by a very nice man Rene, who went out of his way to help us multiple times as well as picking us up and dropped us off at they airport. The location is a very short walk to the best place to see sunset on the island. It's a 10-25 minute walk along the water to the "main" part of town. His family Moai is just behind the cabana we stayed in. There is a small kitchen and fridge. Nice patio. It's not your place if you are into luxury resorts, but if you want a comfortable place to stay with plenty of room for a couple you should consider staying here.

Great location with great host!

I had the pleasure to visit Easter Island for the 2nd time in November 2018.
We stayed with Cabanas Moai, a great location and in a short walking distance from Tahai.
One of the owners welcomed us warmly at the airport.
Our Cabanas was pretty large, well equipped, very clean and we rented a small jeep directly from the owners.
The location is amazing and you can watch the sunset directly from the porched..... or walk for a few minutes to Tahai and watch it from there.
Overall, I would highly recommend staying here, especially when traveling between 3 and 5 people.

Pace e natura

La cabana è deliziosa, completa di ogni confort e arredata in stile locale, posizionata in un bellissimo giardino con vista sul moai Koteriku. Si trova a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla strada principale di Hanga Roa, dove si trovano tutti i locali commerciali, inoltre si può accedere direttamente dal giardino al sito Ahu Tahai, dove godere di un magnifico sunset con vista moai. Il proprietario è una persona deliziosa, gentilissimo e disponibile. Un soggiorno meraviglioso, come la splendida Rapa Nui!
