Lovely location and child-friendly

My girlfriend, myself and our 4 and 6 year old enjoyed our stay. The service was good, we had a room with a view towards the woods and the kids were happy about the pool and the armband we bought for them where they could eat as much popcorn and drink as much mocktails as they wanted.

Scandic Hotel Silkeborg

Good rooms which are disability friendly, had one with rollator that could get around everything,
when it was in a plan.
Morning food there was a lot of things to choose from, so there you did not go in vain.
Dinner at the restaurant was also good.
The staff was nice and friendly.

Nice hotel with pool. Ideal for city and upland.

Nice hotel in the outskirts of Silkeborg. But still close to all roads around in Søhøjlandet. Lovely nature. Lovely with swimming pool which has open from early morning to midnight. Mega cute staff in the restaurant and bar.
The chef was probably very happy to use salt the days we were there. It ruined a bit the taste experience on the food.( Except for the burger and the steak - they were perfect.) But my pasta carbonara was destroyed by all the salt flakes that were added before serving. There was RIGELIGHT in the bacon used in court. Don't you taste it?
The 1/2 lobster was also right in the lower edge to adult men could get saturated. Why not offer a delicious salad of some kind - instead of pommes, when you know there isn't quite much food in it?? It just lowered the level of the court. Thank you.
After all, we will definitely come back another time.

Good value and comfort for the money

Nice rooms and the service from the staff is top notch. Super delicious breakfast and the location is incredibly scenic.
