A shame.
When we arrive, no one at the reception: only keys placed on a table. So I call the indicated number and come across the boss, who invites me to “take the key with my name”... except that no key had a name. He eventually descends, cigar in the mouth, in a space yet non-smoking.
I ask him where the parking is; he replies that “given our little suitcase, we don’t care.”
I ask him the closing hours of the reception; he replies: “Bah in the evening... do I look so drunk?!”
First impression: catastrophic.
We finally go to the indicated room... which was already occupied by someone. So we're going down, let's call the number back. He comes back, clearly annoyed at having to move. When we explain to him that the room is already paid and that we should not be able to enter another guest, he literally calls us “victims”.
My companion insists on the unacceptable side of the situation. The boss, rather than apologizing, asks me if I “really live with this energetic”, pointing to my spouse. Totally out of place. He finally gives us another key, sighing.
The elevator smelled like cigars.
The room smelled of the enclosed and damp, and there were cigarette butts on the balcony. We didn’t even insist because of the director’s obvious incompetence (because yes, he was the boss).
The worst part: in front of customers, he does not hesitate to insult his employees.
Absolute shame.
