I really recommand for families
Atmosphere was always nice, good music and different programs
Room good , clean and quiet ( for families with small childs i dont recommand the rooms near to the pool and bar )
Workers in Rethymno palace very very friendly
Food mixed from one day to another day and tasty ( very nice waiters )
The people at the reception - Amazing !

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. Staff members were removing plates before guests had even finished their meals, and there was constant shouting throughout the hotel. The alcohol served at the bar was of very poor quality. Overall, this did not feel like a 5-star hotel experience at all.
