Das Albergo Terminus wurde im 19. Jahrhundert erbaut und bietet eine großartige Aussicht auf den Comer See und eine zentrale Lage neben dem Bahnhof Como Nord Lago in der Altstadt. Die Zimmer befinden sich im Hauptgebäude oder im neuen Hotelflügel, der 2007 erbaut wurde. Jedes der klimatisierten Zimmer verfügt standardmäßig über ein individuelles Design, Sat-TV und eine Minibar. Das Terminus Hotel verfügt über eine prachtvolle Lobby mit WLAN. Das Restaurant serviert traditionelle Gerichte der italienischen Küche, die Sie mit Aussicht auf den See im Garten genießen können. Die aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter versorgen Sie mit touristischen Informationen und empfehlen Ihnen, was Sie in und um Como unternehmen können. Der Dom zu Como ist nur 300 m entfernt. Das Museum Tempio Voltiano mit seinen Gärten erreichen Sie zu Fuß in 5 Minuten.

Lovely old world charm right in the centre of town

The hotel is in one of the best locations, overlooking the lake and a short walk to many restaurants and the funicular.
The hotel is ‘old worldy’, so if you are after a contemporary hotel this may not be the one for you.
Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The only negative in the room was that only one of our two international power adapters worked in the 3 pin power points and there are no USB charging points.
The staff was incredible, from the front desk and bell boy through house keeping and restaurant.
Breakfast was included and there were ample choices available. The lack of omelette or poached eggs was the only disappointment but the mimosa was a pleasant surprise.
The linen and bath towels were all clean and fresh. My request for a memory foam pillow was fulfilled quickly. Fresh fruit and complimentary water in our room was a nice touch.
There is noise at night and in the morning but that is to be expected when booking a hotel right in the midst of the action.
Overall, a lovely place to stay and welcoming staff.

Good quaint hotel right on the lake

We had some trouble finding really fantastic hotels in Come and this one was very nice but not stellar. The location is good, right on the lake, easy access to the town and restaurants. The outside area is lovely. They have a very pretty bar/restaurant with cut lights. We had dinner there and enjoyed it. The rest of the hotel is historic so a bit weird. There are a bunch of winding hallways which are confusing. The corridors are tight and stuffy. The rooms were fine but not huge and not super modern. It was a good experience but the rooms could be a bit freshened up and modernized.

Lovely Hotel in a very convenient location. Breakfast was lovely and I actually found the single room great for 1 person. The second floor landing is a real stunner.

Could be better

For context we have spent 2 nights in Verona and 2 nights in Garda both hotels different price ranges but equally outstanding from welcome drinks to extra water as there is a heatwave on!
Sadly this hotel is not quite hitting the mark . The staff are lovely but have restrictions. Breakfast was ok but the eggs looked like they had been there far too long . I asked for fresh eggs , poached . Waiter said he would have to charge extra for poached ! Seriously at nearly 500 euros a night this is just not ok.
No tea or coffee in room.
1 bottle of water and you have to pay 6 euros from the mini bar if you want more .....
Shame as it is in a lovely location but there are better options out there ......
