Good sized clean room. Very pleasant and respectful reception staff. Hotel well situated. Why don't hotels (not just this one)have quiet courtyard type areas where you can sit with beverage and a book, instead if being stuck inside?
No pool so no kids so nice and quiet. Coffee in the breakfast room could be improved.

When I went to check in at about 9:30pm there was a sign at the desk that said be back in 5 min. 10 min. If me standing there someone finally came. The sign in was decent after that. My biggest complaint is about the price, I go here for business all the time and these hotels just rape you in tourist season. I was in the room just to catch a little sleep for7 hours and that was it. $350 that’s about $50/hr just to sleep😡 if I had another option at the time I wouldn’t of stayed here!!

We booked a room with two queen beds for one night, Saturday, August 15 to Sunday, August 16, for almost $400. We booked through a third party the day of our stay. We fully acknowledge that booking through a third party can complicate things, so we were not aware that even though it was pet friendly that it was only certain rooms that were.
When we arrived around 4 PM, my sister was initially being helped by a gentleman at the front desk who was extremely kind. We were completely transparent and immediately told staff that we had our dog with us because we wanted to make sure there would be no issues.
Kushi then took over and told us our room was not pet-friendly and that the only pet-friendly room available had one queen bed. We were willing to work with that, despite having paid for two queen beds. However, we were then told we would have to downgrade to one queen bed AND pay an additional $25 fee.
Naturally, my sister asked why we were paying an additional amount while receiving a lesser room and whether the $25 could

This stay was disappointing. I realize it’s not a high end hotel, but when they gouge for $400 on a busy night, expectations are a bit higher. The receptionist at check in was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient, but it went downhill from there. Ice machines out of order, elevator buttons were gross, many things in hotel were rundown and clearly needed repair/replacement.

Location of the hotel, convenience to Drumheller attractions, inclusion of breakfast and the helpfulness of the staff - these were all positives.
However, the hotel is a bit dated and could use some updating.
