Pleasant place in a quiet area

I stayed for 3 nights in this Riad during May - It was a stop in between Tanger and El Jadida.
The room I got was very clean and spacious. All rooms are different so be carefull when you book. Some rooms have steps inside the room.
Breakfast was the best I had during my 'road trip'. It is not served very quick so make sure you go down for breakfast on time if a guide or driver is picking you up.
-- especially if there is a group in the Riad.
The staff in the kitchen and the cleaners are very friendly.
I enjoyed the rooftop to read my book in the evening.

Lovely Riad with a very peaceful air

Unfortunately, my husband and I only got to spend one night in this beautiful Riad. We stayed in the Prestige Suite with the terrace on the second floor. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was stunning and there were all mod cons – safe, hairdryer, kettle and Nespresso machine (!), A/C… it was very quiet and peaceful and we got a great night’s sleep.
The pool looked tempting with a pleasant enough temperature (in April) although we didn’t have time to try it out (two other guests were swimming while we checked it out). Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely. We had dinner at Kalaa which was very good in an equally beautiful courtyard. Even the Moroccan house red was extremely pleasant. We managed to get ourselves lost in the Medina on our way home from dinner (we had made a detour to the Kasbah des Oudaias which is in easy walking distance) but never felt concerned as the place had a very relaxed feel, even after dark. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed only a brief time (arriving late for one night), but we would've liked to stay longer! The rooms were nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. Everything was clean, and the staff members were friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Would recommend!

A perfect riad

We recommend with your eyes closed. Everything is perfect: welcome and friendliness of all staff, cleanliness and amenities available, excellent breakfast, very nice terrace areas, central location for visits.

Lovely riad in the heart of the medina - with a delicious breakfast!

We (an American couple) stayed in Riad Kalaa 2 for one night in spring 2026 and it set the standard for all riads on our trip after that. They welcomed us with Moroccan mint tea with cookies, provided a map of the city (very helpful!), and suggested several nearby restaurants (sister Riad Kalaa was full that night). The breakfast was fantastic and included made to order omelets, fresh fruit, Moroccan msemmen bread, and more. We stayed in the "Casablanca" room on the second floor that was spacious and nicely decorated. First floor rooms open directly onto the courtyard where meals are served, so that could be awkward. The wifi upstairs was spotty and our toilet had a constant drip. The bed was very comfortable and the room very dark so we slept great! We definitely recommend Riad Kalaa 2 to other travelers in Rabat.
