Little gem

Just spent 2 nights here. It’s a quaint smaller hotel a block off the main street and a short walk from the ferry.
We were 2 couples ( 2 rooms ) and were very happy with the place. Only 15 rooms in total. 2 bottles of water in each room upon arrival. The rooms ( although not 5 star - nor is the price ) are very clean and comfortable. A/C worked great.
The only bad is the hot water is sporadic for the shower and the wifi is not very good ( wifi is poor everywhere on the island ).
The place is within walking distance to everywhere in Holbox. Gaby ( the hostess ) was wonderful. Kept our stuff until late after after checkout and gave us a place to change before we headed back home.
Would definitely recommend this place

Don't be fooled by appearances

The hotel would also be nice if it weren't for:
- 3 days without water, not even a trickle from the shower and little from the sink. They told us it was a problem common to all hotels, but going around for lunch in other hotels it wasn't true
- Swimming pool unusable without notice
- Dangerous stairs if wet (a friend of the group fell with serious consequent damage)
- Grumpy and not very honest staff
- Air conditioning that turns on and off by itself
- Lack of point to rinse your feet at the entrance, essential in Holbox
- Location not the best

No custom services, liers and scammers

They had no water and no electricity. The pool was empty cause they were using that pool water to supply the rooms water. We wanted to cancel, and the lady agreed to charge no fees for cancelling. Next day, she said we didn't show off and is not picking phone. She gave us a fake phone for communication.
We saw how she lied to another couple of tourists.
Lady is a lier and hotel sounds like scam

Terrible place and service

Me and my friends found this place on trip advisor. We got a smelly room, the ac didn’t work and the fan made terrible noise. On one of the nights my friend was showering when the light in the room stopped working and the hot water in the shower as well. All the other rooms didn’t have that problem. When I went to the woman on the reception she said: “yes I know, it is a known problem on this side of the hotel”. I told her that we can’t be in this room that way and asked her to come and see the problem herself. She came in the room inside the bathroom, she looked at the towel that was on the floor, a towel that the clean lady put there and asked us to pay for it!! She said the light and hot water are not problem and just laughed to our faces!! It is the most disrespectful treatment we have ever got. Terrible service. I should say we paid on the check in.

A wonderful stay in a hotel

We chose this hotel for my fiance's birthday, very nice owners, the hotel's location in a very quiet place, we spent nice moments there. Atmosphere in a boutique hotel very cozy. The room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable and clean. We liked the boutique hotel very much. Before the room we had a small terrace, where you could sit, as well as another place with chairs where we could also spend time. The facility also had a swimming pool where you could cool off and relax.
