Honest review

I am from South Africa. Visited over this Easter. Room was comfortable but shower handle was broken, bed lamps and hair dryer did not work. Food was not up to standard. Lack of English speaking staff did not make the stay any easier. Room service isnt actual room service as you still need to go to the desk to pay. Food arrived and was totally disappointing. Waste of money. Hotel does not even check on guests. Definitely will not recommend this place especially if you from SA. Our standards are totally different.

Room was very clean with good wifi though not all the lights worked. Plenty of hot water. Staff was courteous and helpful, breakfast was adequate (there is an egg station). Lobby is dark and drab, but location is good, only a few blocks from the Cathdral. In a Muslim area, so no beer served, but a good pizzaria on site.

Very quiet, clean comfortable room with good air conditioning, good shower and comfy bed. Fridge and kettle provided, Wi-Fi worked very well. Central location if you need to be and only a 15 minute taxi ride from airport. No surprises or disappointments, breakfast was a bit basic but I don’t eat a huge breakfast anyway.
