My second stay here and it was fabulous yet again. Room was excellent, the bed you won’t want to get out of. Shower and amenities excellent. Restaurant is awesome, the food is phenomenal. Choices of drinks excellent Hospitality and incredibly friendly attentive staff. Breakfast quality is very good with a good selection of m ats cheese fruit and pastries. Good coffee and fruit juices on tap. Sluiskil is a lovely quiet village with a well stocked SPAR across the road. Suggested room enhancements- coffee facilities for that early morning cuppa, a mat for the shower on exit and an English TV channel. Apart from that can’t wait to return, it is perfect for my job in Terneuzen.

Disappointing experience

Booked a night at this hotel for the first time last Thursday. On arrival I received a key to a room 150m away in an old church. Upon entering my room I smelled a foul musty/moldy smell. When the shower door opened, the air got even worse. When looking at the dated shower, I saw mold on the ceiling in several places and Near the sealant edges in the old shower tray. I had hoped that the smell would get less bad with the fan / exhaust on in the shower but nothing turned out to be further from the truth. After taking a quick shower I went for dinner in the restaurant. The food was very good but I was still with that smell in my head what it would be like when I came back after dinner. Upon returning to my room the smell was still very present so I also opened a window. The window also opened very difficult and I couldn't get the blinds of one of the windows up because he kept falling out of his rails. I went to reception to ask for another room but unfortunately there was not. For me not a good experience at all with the booked room. I mentioned it again when checking out so hope they do something about it for a next guest. For me unfortunately no more hotel dallinga unless the room above the restaurant are better.

Very nice welcome from staff. Room is basic but clean and tidy. The bed….omg so comfortable. Extra blankets etc. Available. WiFi is ok. I had dinner in the restaurant last night and the food and drink was fabulous. Breakfast was good plenty to chose from. Good SPAR supermarket across the street. Some minor negative points, bathroom no heating so a bit cold in the morning, no coffee/tea in room and no access to BBC but you can’t get everything!

Lovely stay in Dallinga Sluiskiel

Very nice reception. Spacious room. Lovely beds. Nice and varied breakfast. Very nice dinner. Wide choice. Very good value for money. Highly recommended to unwind. Also very nice quiet area. Terneuzen center 10 min away by car. A hit.
