Memorable Xmas Trip

We spent a very special Xmas in Alpbach this year as a family of 5. We have been visiting Alpbach for around 20 years on and off after a few years since our last visit skiing we were delighted to be back. The snow was amazing and we always delight in the beautiful setting that is Alpbach.
It’s also great to see familiar faces and Marianne is very much a familiar face. This was our first time staying at Marianne’s guests house and we had a lovely stay. The rooms are comfortable with lovely views of the mountains and the location was perfect for the village and the bus to the slopes.
Thankyou Marianne for looking after us and we hope to be back soon.

Prefect Guesthouse - would highly recommend

A lovely guesthouse, warm, clean and only a 5 mins walk to the centre. Marianne is an amazing host and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast of fresh bread, eggs, meats and cheese was great. We travelled with Crystal Ski, and our rep Nick was so helpful. Would highly recommend, thank you Marianne.

The perfect location and stay!

Marianne and her beautiful guest house were fabulous! We’ve just returned from a week’s stay. The guest house is clean, warm and the breakfast was lovely, my two young Sons, Dad and I enjoyed the most delicious scrambled eggs in the mornings with fresh bread, fruit and yogurts.
It was the perfect location for the skiing daily, with the bus collecting us everyday. What a beautiful location with plenty of places to see and eat at. Will definitely be back. Thank you Marianne so much for your wonderful stay. Emma Jon Cj and Seth x

Comfortable, Warm & friendly Marianna the host is great!!!!!

We travelled with Crystal Ski. Our rep Nick was amazing!!!!! This ski resort is purely for intermediates.... Lots of reds..... Hardly any blues. Our host Marianna was friendly and this accommodation was warm, clean and convenient to the town & ski bus just outside which came twice a day in the mornings. Our continental breakfast was ample..... Fresh bread, cake, freshly boiled eggs every morning & fresh fruit, ham & cheese. And the coffee was outstanding!!!!!!! Marianna also said she would buy soya yoghurt for me as I am dairy intolerant. But there was plenty for us!!!!! Truly a lovely lady❤️

Comfortable, good value, pretty views

We stayed here with teenage kids for a week long skiing trip. It worked perfectly for us as an economical B&B - quiet, warm rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers & decent breakfasts. For skiers there is a heated boot store & safe kit storage for overnight if needed.
The building’s architecture is attractive traditional style & we were lucky that one room was upgraded to a self catering room so we had a fridge & space for socialising in the evening, which proved to be an unexpected bonus - the standards rooms don’t have these features.
Fürstenhof is up the hill from the main town centre, about a 10 min uphill walk, but the ski bus stops outside at convenient times 3x each morning & 2x each afternoon so at no point was this a problem. (We left our skis at the top of the mountain most days, however).
Marianna our host seemed initially slightly intimidating but we rapidly learnt she is a really thoughtful & kind hearted person. We’d be happy to go back!
