And another one…
I sound like a broken record or as if I own a stake in Amrai: well, I don’t!
It was again an amazing stay: the beauty of a perfect location, the beautiful building, the sound of the Litz, the amazing stylish rooms, the one-of-a-kind super friendly, professional and hospitable staff (Ben, Antonia, Krecznik, Issa, Mitzi, Irina, Enzo, Steven, Karo. Anika, and the ones whose names I did not memorize!), the fantastic food (breakfast and both restaurants), the leadership team (Franziska, Michaela, Vivien and Stefan), the cleaning staff: simply everybody!
It makes for the ultimate relaxation break: a perfect cocktail of nature, outdoor life, wellness, luxurous hospitality combined with sincere grounded warmth and culinary highlights!
Let’s face it: if you don’t like this gem, the problem is probably you.

Nice, but not again
No question - the Amrai Suites are a good hotel. We had a great room (suite as an upgrade to our booking, great amenities with sauna and sophisticated kitchen, even if we wouldn't have needed all of that.) Everything is also very modern, the spa areas are good, and we also found the staff to be very friendly. Overall, we were not satisfied with the dining. The breakfast is excellent, without reservation. We were not convinced by the taste of the dinner. One can have different opinions about the design and look - personally, I only partially like the hotel design: the light wood is not my taste. I find the curved partition walls in the restaurant distracting. Overall a nice hotel, where in my eyes price and performance do not match. I would not book again.

Go and enjoy - with or without athletic activities.
At the foot of the mountains, actually not my destination at all. We were looking for a hotel that we liked the look of. So we made a great choice with the Hotel Amrei. Spacious entrance area, the chosen materials are a feast for the eyes. Our room, simply WOW. A small window nook with a cushion for lounging, looking out, reading, etc. Wooden floors - long bench with a tiled stove, etc. The bathroom/vanity area is also beautifully selected, designed... nothing is missing. I could go on writing like this, I am at a loss for words. On the 3rd floor there is a spa and a pool with a magnificent view. The rooms are designed so cool, so let's go.
The people are very friendly and helpful.
It has a restaurant with a grill - no wishes remain unfulfilled, whether meat, fish, or other specialties. The wine cellar invites you to enjoy and discover something new. Warm and competent team, Issa the jack-of-all-trades - Desmond the fire artist and Steven the international joker with the baseball cap turned backward.

Top vacation location
It is hard to highlight anything in particular. Everything was simply top-notch: Staff very friendly, ambiance dignified, restaurant great, breakfast by the 'creek' relaxed, rooms spacious. Perfect location.

Not recommended despite the good location.
Positive:
• Architecture, style, furnishings
• The location is – subjectively speaking – formidable.
• The curtains glide great.
• There is a coffee machine in the room and a refrigerator (no minibar).
• It is clean.
• The beds are okay.
• Bed & mattress (comfortable, with pillow selection)
• There are enough toiletries and towels.
• The service staff is very friendly, less so at the reception.
• Mike's massage was the absolute highlight and the best part of the stay at the Amrai. It's a shame that the spa treatments were completely booked out (poor planning).
Negative:
• Bad Wi-Fi
• Air conditioning is missing.
• The breakfast buffet is okay, but not outstanding.
• The wait times at the two coffee machines are too long. The second one is rather hidden – perhaps provide a third one?
• The dinner is very good, however the portions are much too generous
• Spa/treatments completely booked out
• A clear positioning is missing: Children, dogs (the trend is towards dogs, believe it or not), families, couples, wellness/spa …..?
• The reaction to requests or problems seems like an alibi – they are not really addressed
Overall, the price-performance ratio is not right for me. I have been to the Amrai 5 to 6 times by now, and from year to year my expectations were met less. I actually cannot recommend the hotel. So I have definitely stayed at the Amrai for the last time. There are many good hotels in Schruns and the surrounding area, and new ones are constantly being built.
