A 1-star house can also have charm

A highly recommended boutique hotel. The star-winning cuisine certainly stands out.
But Das Marent also scores with its optimal size: all amenities can be enjoyed a little more exclusively. Whether outdoor pool, spa, bar or restaurant - everything fits together, so we could enjoy this oasis at any time and without restriction. We have experienced this differently in larger houses of the same category. Service and housekeeping are pleasantly reserved.

Nice location!

Very nice welcome. Nice location! However, the room and restaurant are kept dark and with little light. Food was ok but not at Gault Millau level, also came more often lukewarm. Service staff nice.

Christmas at The Marent – more than a hotel, it's "coming home"

We stayed at Das Marent again – and it was a very special experience as every time.
A real highlight this year was the new mulled wine stand: Standing at the fire vat with a warming cup of mulled wine and freshly baked waffles to begin the culinary journey – the evening can hardly start more atmospherically.
The following Christmas menu was at absolute star level: creative, festive, perfectly coordinated and prepared with great attention to detail.
But what keeps us coming back is not only the excellent cuisine, but above all the warmth of the entire team. Hospitality is lived here – familiar, attentive and with genuine passion. For us, Das Marent is not just a hotel, but a place where we feel at home.
For us: always "coming home".

Great house - from A to Z

Oh, jeee - you don't want to leave. We found the Marent about Secret Escapes because we needed a little break again. Unfortunately, it is 6-7 hours from Frankfurt - but it should be worth it. At the c7I we were already greeted super friendly - with a glass of cava.
The room on the third floor is large enough, has a nice bathroom and great views of the mountains. Perhaps the idea of a small coffee machine is also an addition.
So first explore the wellness area - there is an indoor/outdoor pool where you can swim inside out into a heated area. Very awesome and the best - the bar is right next door. So you can order your aperitif right in the pool.
Likewise, there is one floor deep an area with saunas, relaxation room, steam room and indoor pool with beautiful areas to lie down and relax. Water and fruit is provided. Just great to let your soul dangle.
In the evening we went to the restaurant - we had the 5-course option - wonderful. You can choose from 2 appetizers, 3 main courses and 2 desserts - no wishes are left unfulfilled.
In the morning the breakfast is also lovingly made - here we have a bit of the regional specialties (eg Tyrolean bacon...) missing. But we've already addressed that. Egg dishes and coffee orders are picked up at the table and freshly prepared.
Even in the evening the bar has a great selection of classic drinks and cocktails.
We really enjoyed the days here - to highlight is the consistently friendly and professional staff.
We will come back and can only recommend the house.

Very nice hotel, very good Service, nice hotel bar with good music, very nice location with small outdoor pool and beautiful views, very good coffee served for breakfast. However, value for money at dinner, especially with the drinks, does not fit or overpriced.
