Die Pension Central Semmering ist 100 m von der Zau[:ber:]g Kabinenbahn und 400 m von der 4-er Sportbahn Blauer Blitz entfernt und kann direkt auf Skiern erreicht werden.

Good value for money
Got my single room for EUR44, with no prior booking, on a weekend. On arrival at the train station, I walked to the hotel. You need to look for a rather hidden pathway that goes up a hill, at the first intersection you meet. I missed it and got lost for 1/2 hours.
On top of the hill, the hotel is right above a tobacco shop, across from BIPA. It has no sign, so it's best to call them if you can't find it. It seems to be operated by the same man who runs the shop, who, by the way, is very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is provided at the restaurant next door. But there are a few places to eat around the hotel at typical downtown prices in Vienna.
Wifi is free but has bad internet connection sometimes, which is understandable for a mountain location.
The room smelled nice, with orange-scented aromatherapy sticks. Also the furnishing seemed brand-new, which added to the scent. The only complaint I have is about the shower, which is low pressure and took a very long time initially to get hot. But otherwise, it couldn't be a better budget hotel.

Good location; nothing more
The property is in a good location. In just a few steps you can reach various rentals and restaurants.
The base station is just around the corner and the local Billa is located vis-a-vis.
Own parking spaces are not part of the pension, so it can take a while before you find it in the crowded public parking lots.
Check-in is easy and fast. Early check-in is not possible.
The room was freshly wiped, you could smell the smell of chlorine, which despite ventilation held up well in the room.
The TV is operated directly on the device, remote control I could not find.
The water throughput of the shower is a bit meagre, so it takes time for the water to warm up. The tiles in the shower whitened black mold.
Sleep was on a double bed with reddish brown spots on the blanket and the head cushion.

Bad hotel
Almost no wifi you can’t watch YouTube.
The owner will shout at you if you exit your room past 20:00.
The coffe machine does not work.
The owner is not speaking english and he is shouting at you in German language.
The staff entered our room while we were falling asleep.
The heating platform does not work.
The toilet stinks because its blocked.
I found my pillow on the ground.
There is literally one soap.
Usual noise in the middle of the night.
So do not go here if you want a good hotel.
The owner will shout at you if you exit your room past 20:00.

Actually better than 3 but not quite a 4
Very good value for the money and excellent location. And clean, tidy and comfortable with good internet connection. But good luck finding it! The owner is lovely, very sweet and accommodating, but not really business focussed. Put up a sign, for heavens sake! Single room is great value, although of course on the tight side (we are in Europe after all) but doubles are spacious. No hairdryers in the room. A bit noisy between rooms and from outside, but nights are quiet, so not a major issue. Breakfast next door could be better. Ski in is a bit of a stretch, as you would ruin your skiis on the road and the paths treated with gravel - but it is indeed right next to the hill, so a few steps and you're there.

we slept in a refrigerator
We have been accomodated at the pension in January. They have not used the heating for days before. So it was extremely cold in the room. It was about midnight, when the temperature started to be ok.
In the neighbourhood room it was the same. It looks like the owner try to save money with the heating.
ASK THE OWNER TO HEAT UP the room minimum 24 hours before.
So for 110 euro/night , i do not want to sleep in a refrigerator
