A nice stay, bus stop right in front of the hotel.

We had 2 single rooms, unfortunately only for 1 night - we were there for the festival. Great starting point for that, overall very friendly, pleasant atmosphere, great staff, good breakfast and very good bed. The room was pleasantly air-conditioned at an outside temperature of over 36 degrees.

Disappointing for a 4-star hotel.

In my opinion, the room furnishings in no way meet the expected standard of this category.
The room lacked basic amenities: no electric kettle, no coffee machine, no slippers, no bathrobe, no minibar or mini-fridge, and not even a telephone. In addition, there was a very narrow single bed about 80 cm wide, which is hardly suitable for a comfortable stay. The felt flooring is also outdated and unhygienic.
In a 4-star establishment, one expects more comfort, amenities, and attention to detail. The star rating raises expectations that this room unfortunately could not meet.

Average hotel, great breakfast

I stayed for one night on business at Hotel Sternen. The hotel is good and average. The rooms are very basic but clean. The breakfast is top-notch.

A home away from Home

Sternen Hotel is a great place to stay. If one is looking for a home away from home, this is the place to go!
The rooms are spacious, clean, and the staff are always ready to assist.
Oh, did I already mention that the breakfast is superb?! It is!

Modern Vacation/Business Hotel

Great location within the heart of a small city ideally connected to highway with Lake of Constance, Switzerland, Liechtenstein within a few minutes drive. Very clean and modern architecture, easy access via bus and car, ample free underground parking, elevator from park garage to all levels, great sauna, spa, gym (currently with limited access due to COVID-19), overwhelmingly friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast buffet. Hallway and large rooms have flair of Rehab clinic, clean but not inviting due to cold light and abundance of comfort items. Mattress in room was less comfortable and already saggy bed.
