Great location, just a 5-minute walk from Plaza de Armas, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel has lots of historic charm but has been nicely renovated. Rooms are comfortable, with decent soundproofing and plenty of hot water. There’s no elevator for the three floors, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great stay in Cusco!

Pleasant stay, nice hotel

We stayed here twice, before and after our trip to Machu Picchu and they stored the luggage for our group whilst we were away.
Situated in the city reasonably central for most things. Nice reception area/lounge full of artifacts, however, no real reason to sit and enjoy it early evening as the bar was not open, depsite there being drink on show. We would have happily sat and had a couple of G & T's pre our eveing meal!
Reception was helpful and friendly, but no lifts in the building. Fortunately one of the staff carried our bags up the stairs.
The rooms vary, on our first stay we had a double which was a reasonable size with King Size bed. There was a view of the mountains from hereif you ignored the delapidated rooftops next door. The shower was over the bath and had a curtain that insisted on sticking to you as you showered.
On our second stay we were put on the third floor in the roof, (room 311), in a suite which was beautiful. This had a lovely bathroom, complete with jacuzzi bath, the room also had a fireplace and seating area. It was on the front of the hotel so there was a bit of noise from over the road at night but it wasn't loud enough to disturb our sleep.
Breakfast was served just off reception, an excellent buffet, one of the best we experienced on our tour. This was kept topped up and clean by one waiter who did a brilliant job including collecting used plates etc.
Nice boutique shops over the road to peruse and some lovely restaurants within 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Great stay

Great hotel. Very personable and accommodating. Beds very comfortable. Close to the city center

Checkout is 9am, which is crazy early. There's no such thing as sleeping in here! The other con is the toiletries: terrible. Single-use packets of cheap shampoo and tiny, thin, nearly unusable bars of soap. These products made my skin drier than the Sahara Desert. Pros: staff are very nice, property is clean, rooms are dated but functional, and the buffet breakfast is great. The property is walkable to all things in Cusco. Lots of good things, but the early checkout and Dollar Store toiletries drop this place to 3 stars.
