Indredibly Friendly and Value-for-money Stay :)

We stayed at the apartment that impressed us with its cleanliness, peace and quiet, and all necessary amenities. The manager, Artur, is a fantastically friendly & efficient man, available 24/7 & eager to provide the guests with everything they need.
The place itself is 20-min away from the centre, but it's very easy to get there by fast trains, buses, and trams. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, with two supermarkets and a couple of cafes within a walking distance.
All in all, we are more than happy with everything, thanks to Artur's care! :)

Cost-effective clean accommodation

Proprieter most helpful, conscientious, informative. The place was spotless, very quiet at night so had very good sleep. Neighbourhood picturesque, quaint and safe. Local restaurants and shops good, excellent transport connections to the rest of Gdansk.

Lovely clean room, friendly owner, great value

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Gdansk. I was about 8 hours earlier than expected ie morning instead of evening but Artur came back out of town to be there for me. On arrival had a lovely chat with him. He constantly emphasised that when I was out and about I could call him any time for help, eg if I got lost or if I needed someone to translate the items on a menu! All done in a very relaxed charming way. Lovely guy. And big room, very clean. Bathroom was separate from room but it was my own bathroom with a lock so it was still effectively private. Lots of facilities downstairs eg microwave and fridge so you could cook up a snack if necessary.

Excellent, budget-friendly option with great manager.

A little ways out of Gdansk, Oliwa is an excellent option if you don't need to be smack in the middle of the city. Manager, Artur, is a great source of info and very accommodating and helpful. He also speaks excellent English, so no problem there. Our late arrival (when our flight was rescheduled) was not a problem.
Everything we needed was nearby, supermarkets, pharmacy, public transport (tram, bus and SKM) and even a 24h-store near the tram circle a few minutes away.
The room had WiFi, Sat-TV (though we didn't use it) a fridge, a water boiler and a decent shower. It also had a table and two chairs where we had our breakfasts in the morning. There's also a larger fridge and a microwave in the basement.
The only slight problem we had with our room was that we couldn't block out the early morning light (as the sun rises so early in July), the light colored drapes weren't quite enough. Though this wasn't a huge problem for us. The room also go a little stuffy, but it was OK after opening the windows for a few minutes.
All-in-all an excellent choice and we highly recommend it.
There's also a barbecue in the yard, which we never got around to using as our evenings were busy.

Nice place

Nice calm place (very peaceful surroundings, nice private houses around, very helpful owner), good sleep. But go there only if you don't mind to have 80s style old furniture and all related stuff. Quite a distance from the center, but OK if you have car (about 10 minutes driving), or if you don't mind to use the public transport.
