Half satisfied

I am generally a positive person who hates to complain but here I was actually a little disappointed. Maybe because of high expectations but still...
The environment was amazing but with a pool that is not heated, a lot of the experience is dependent on the weather -we knew that before. What I had wanted and expected was a much more committed staff. The receptionist in particular clearly showed that she would rather be somewhere else.
The castle itself is quite small and since you have the opportunity to walk around freely and look, I think it was sad that one of the rooms was basically used as a storage room. It gave a little sloppy and disengaged feeling just like the staff (certainly not all).
The food was like that… A little chewy meat and with my fish you had missed carrots (I discovered at the end after missing carbohydrates for the whole meal). Misses can happen so really no weirdness but it was no taste experience for any of us.
Rooms were good but big minus for the rock hard extra bed. Our (admittedly somewhat spoiled) ten-year-old daughter refused to sleep in it so my dad had to take it.
In the current situation I would not actually choose to go back which feels boring and extremely unlike me.

-Some music and the feeling of “life” in the castle after dinner. (There were few guests when we were there and you got the feeling that you should just go to bed and be quiet for the greater good)

A total disaster in Service!

A summer Wednesday evening in late July 2025. Decided together with my family and my pilot for the evening. Finally to take the helicopter to Häringe Castle to enjoy a family dinner. Although the pilot over the phone has been promised a table for 5 this was not ready on arrival even though it was far from full! The menus lacked content, the bread on the table for 5 people was quantities for two people, despite repeated orders written down by the waiting staff, there was always something missing. When asked about our ordered food we were explained that it was soon our turn. Finally, the food came in. Then the drink was finished so I had to order another round. Before dinner was over, the wait staff removed some plates? We wanted to order ”stawberrydaqary” but were told that it did not have ingredients. Then it was ordered coffee and desert coffee was forgotten! Overall, this visit was as far from a successful evening as you can get. Luckily everyone in the party kept a good and pleasant face.This was both the first and last visit to Häringe Castle in my world there is no room for disappointments of this type.

Vi ber om ursäkt för att ert bord inte var förberett vid ankomst, för missar i beställningarna och för att service och uppmärksamhet inte levde upp till den nivå vi vill stå för. Även detaljer som bröd, dryck, efterrätter och kaffe är viktiga delar av helhetsupplevelsen, och här har vi helt enkelt inte levererat.

Affordable and nice with a piece of Swedish history

Simple and clean room in the annex. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Interesting and exciting environment with rich history. The Christmas buffet was generous with 54 different options to choose from. Too bad Jansson was missing anchovies. The breakfast in the nice environment was quite ok. So we are satisfied

Poor Service

Terrible Service with unpleasant stewards. It started when we had not received the drink we ordered as an addition to the room, but had to go and get it ourselves at the reception.
We had to wait about 20 minutes for staff in the bar to show up. Once they showed up and took our order, we waited 30 minutes without having received the drinks we paid for. We go up and try to find staff, and then the maître d' is the only one available. He is stressed and perceived as passive aggressive. Very unpleasant. One of the drinks we ordered is missing ingredients and we get to choose someone else. There is also only one person who knows how to mix one of the drinks we ordered. We wait another 25 minutes before we get the drinks.
The staff are "squabbling" out on the floor in front of guests and are obviously stressed which spoils the atmosphere quite a lot.
Great room and castle/castle area, but unfortunately we were left with a rather unpleasant feeling about the reception. We felt mostly in the way and like we were a nuisance.
