This is the fourth time I have stayed here, and the hotel continues to provide excellent service. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and my single room was very comfortable. There are lots of nice touches, like free water bottles in the room and fresh fruit at the reception. The breakfast is very nice. The only problem is that I couldn't open the window. There is a fan in the room, and I could let fresh air in during the morning when the hall windows were open. Part of my stay was during a heat wave, and the room was hot. Otherwise, I really recommend this hotel!

Inadequate

We have been there a few times because we like to support this institution. But this time everything from A-Z was inadequate. Unfortunately!!! The price for this room and breakfast is not exactly inexpensive, after all!!! Staff were stressed and therefore not necessarily friendly. Breakfast absolutely inadequate and not exactly well thought out. I would handle that differently. If there is too little staff, that is not our fault; there is no price reduction either, so we would like to be served properly. Room opposite the cleaning room. The staff made a lot of noise, so we could no longer sleep. Too bad. We do not know if we will come again.

Great apartment in Basel, close to the riverside

We booked the Louis apartment which is a few minutes away from the hotel. It's on the 3rd floor without an elevator, so it's not suitable for people with mobility problems. The apartment is very nice decorated and it has everything you need and very clean. The noise from the street can be disturbing sometimes, but we knew that and it wasn'r such a big problem.
The apartment is very close to the riverside, where you can swim or walk, the surrounded areas are quite pretty. There are 2 supermarkets nearby, the tram station also is very close and it takes about 10 min to SBB station. The Basel card is very useful getting arround the city.
We had a great time in Basel even if it was a record of temperature those days.

I will definitely recommend this brunch!

At the beginning, the rush was very large, so we had to wait a long time for the ordered drinks. However, the great offer more than made up for this small criticism. The very friendly service staff contributed a lot to the feeling of comfort. We will definitely come back for brunch!!!

Very good hotel

Well-located hotel, warm welcome, the room was very pleasant and clean, good bedding, plenty of choices for breakfast, and the added bonus of hotel parking.
