Awesome place- located perfectly for us to walk the central area and loop around the lake! We rode the Bernina Express to St. Moritz, stayed the night and rode back the next day. Staff is super friendly. Enjoyed a couple beers in the bar looking at the great view of the lake! We purchased the continental breakfast which was wonderful.

No iron available - windows in room did not open. Bathroom and carpet was not the cleanest. Parking was difficult.

The bed was not comfortable. It sagged badly.
Does anything else matter?
Location was good and staff exceptionally friendly but an uncomfortable bed can’t be overcome.

Staff was very nice. The place felt a bit dated. I did not have breakfast there so I would not know about the food.

While it is usually true that you get what you pay for, it is not an excuse.
General:
The building smelled like must, mold and cigarettes.
There is no a/c in the building. That is perfectly fine for 300 days a year, but when the daytime temperature hits 35°C of outside, it is quite unpleasant inside.
The room:
I stayed in room 16. It is advertised as a room with a lake view and all the pictures on their website show views from the various rooms that are entirely clear or almost entirely clear. Room 16 appears to be the one "lake view" room that is almost completely obstructed by a tree. The hotel was unable to move me to another room as they were full and while staff was apologetic they were otherwise unhelpful.
Additionally, the one pillow was the saddest thing I've ever seen on a bed - insert inappropriate joke here.
The room did have a nice built in desk and a high ceiling.
