Good and clean accommodation on La Digue

We (a couple) stayed at Villa Source D'argent for 7 nights. We had a beautiful, very clean, and spacious room with a wooden terrace featuring two loungers and a table with two chairs, where our breakfast was also served. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was very quiet. The bathroom is modern, and the room was spotless every day with fresh towels provided. Beach towels were also included.
Bicycles were available at a discounted rate of 100 SCR per bike, and the hotel also arranged a transfer from the harbor for 200 SCR. The location is slightly outside the center, but with the bikes, everything was easily accessible. Plus, it’s just a short ride from the stunning Anse Source d’Argent beach.
Breakfast was simple, as expected, but sufficient, with freshly prepared eggs to order, toast, butter, jam, fruit, and occasionally a slice of cheese or sausage or yogurt.
Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly return anytime.

Very pleasant stay

Perfect place to spend 5 days in La Digue. Well placed, possibility to rent bicycles for 100 SCR/day. The room is spacious, possibility to cook. Air conditioning. At night, unfortunately, a lot of noises (dogs barking, rooster). Breakfast is carefully prepared. The staff is nice, pleasant and helpful.

Slight place, worth paying a little more and going somewhere else

We had booked a Villa Garden by booking based on the published photos.. a villa of 45m... upon arrival we were greeted with natural fruit juice, they explain in detail and tell us that the villa is not ready yet (it was not check-in time) so we left the bags in the villa and could return in a couple of hours. As we enter we see an old and dirty cuchitril, with towels and sheets gnawed on top of a still dirty table... what a disappointment!!! We talked to the girl who was cleaning the room and we told her that it was not the contracted thing... that it was not fair... and she recognized that the pictures were from another larger villa... After more than 2 hours trying to talk to some responsible unsuccessfully came the alleged booking manager on the island and offered us a 10% discount... what abuse, it was not fair... and they were aware... We told her not to talk and they returned our money after losing 3 hours in total there... the initial kindness disappeared and they were just bad faces towards us... I do not recommend it at all, Polite Service, you could tell that they talked about us in their language all the time... It was really a good choice to leave xq we were no longer at ease in that Mood....

Just great

We have now been in the villa two years in a row, very friendly, nice and family!. The breakfast is meanwhile much better this year than last year and to recommend the small pool area is really nicely done. The quality of the bikes rented there is also above average, all around great. Friendly and helpful

Very nice staff

Simple but equipped room with what you need. Kitchen with dishes available + pots and pans for cooking. Small terrace. Simple lunch.
The big plus: the staff is very nice and caring.
Bicycle rental on site: 100 SCR per bike per day and 150 with baby carrier.
Located 10 min walk from the union estate and 2 min walk from a supermarket.
Forced to take a bike to order a take away.
