Good and Close to the MRT

The hostel is rather close to aljunied MRT station. the location is strategic and not very noisy.
I stayed 3 days and its cheap. there are Lockers, AC, Wifi, PC, TV and Some Toilets (But very small).
The room is small, You even need to discharge your stuffs outside the room.
But overall it is good and clean.

Still worth it...

CONS
-Cleanliness was lacking.
-Too few bathroom and toilet (only 4) for a full packed hostel.
-Wifi was so damn slow -No free breakfast nor toiletries
-There was SGD30 key deposit not mentioned in booking.com when reserving a bed.
-Shoes must be removed and left outside the hostel (can get smelly outside the hostel, really!)
-No place to chill or bond inside the hostel
-No visible signage of the hostel
PROS
-Walking distance from Aljunied MRT
-Jenny (the landlady) was helpful
-Lots of hawker food just outside the hostel and a mini mart where you can buy basic needs like bottled water and some snacks
-A/C was open 24/7
-Place for doing laundry

It’s also located in the red light district

Prices change constantly as according to vacancy and particular days which is not only annoying but greedy and they do not offer discount for continued stay or direct booking (which cost even more!). Prices are updated frequently to reflect occupancy and days of the week or holidays.
Also there’s a few long term guests (locals or foreign workers) monopolizing the spaces.
The fact that they wouldn’t allow you any indoor footwear on their not so clean floors is another major annoyance.
It’s also located in the red light district, so not much for you to wander about.
The well abundance of food eateries are good though. As is the MRT nearby.
WiFi’s pretty weak.

worst experience !!!

Very small hotel, the rooms are dirty and unkempt. Toilet and bathroom was broken, the smell of urine in the entrance and stairs. Bed linen was not ironed. Its advantages just because cheap and very close to the MRT station

NEXT TO MRT Station. Thats all.

The only good thing about this hostel is NEXT TO MRT Station. I stayed 2 nights in this hostel 2 years ago, when my first time sleeping in hostel. The first day I feel so comfort but the second day everyone in the room woke up because the air conditioning suddenly died and we all heat very bad. breakfast was good, but not really interesting only provided bread and butter, too mainstream i think. But thats fine as long as we had only walk 2 minutes to MRT station hehee
