"A great stay"

It is located within the wall, close to historical monuments. Very spacious and very cozy room. It has no elevator but it was not inconvenient. Friendly staff. Very complete breakfast. We parked a few meters outside the wall and cheap. I recommend it!

Hotel for young people

An ancient hotel within the walls, but it should be specified that it is not suitable for elderly people. Too many stairs and no service, no help with moving luggage.
Very noisy and hot rooms, and the shower is very slippery and dangerous.
Not to be repeated

Ideal for visiting Avila.

Great location. Lovely hotel really. A special section for the receptionist who attended "Antonio" wonderfully. The restaurant arranged with them "cinema" very good only 20 meters in an exceptional square. Parking for 15 € is not bad.

Historic place but battered

In three rooms we tested the WiFi did not arrive or it arrived very bad. As a last apology they said it was a Movistar breakdown. Easily verifiable lie. The receptionist, dressed as a room camper, treats you like you owe her money. You have the constant feeling that you will be thrown into the medieval well on the ground floor. If you protest in a good tone, she tells you not to threaten her. I sensed that if I continued to claim to call myself "racist," I chose to put up with it. Some furniture is second-hand from Ikea and, the mattress, from the first owner of the palace. Breakfast is not worth it and seems designed to start you on voluntary fasting. Nice and historic place, very well located, but managed by a staff that, not at all lives up to the advertising and the price. Anyway, I'm going to shut up in memory of the gentleman at the evening reception who, of course, behaved with the dignity and professionalism required.

Regular

The public areas of the hotel are very nice. It really looks like a well-kept medieval palace. It is a shame that it has no elevator and that the rooms are not up to the rest of the hotel (at least ours). Instead of air conditioning there is a fan, there is also an unplugged refrigerator inside the clothes closet, there is no parking and the truth is that maintenance leaves much to be desired. I found 100 euros per night expensive for what they offer.
