El Granado Hostel besticht durch eine zentrale Lage in Granada, nur wenige Schritte von San Jeronimo Kloster und nur 10 Minuten Fußmarsch von Kathedrale von Granada entfernt. Dieses Hostel ist 1,3 km von Capilla Real und 1,5 km von Alhambra entfernt. Nutz folgende Freizeiteinrichtung: Fahrradverleih. Du kannst aber auch den schönen Ausblick von folgendem Punkt genießen: Dachterrasse. Kostenloses WLAN, ein Gemeinschaftswohnzimmer und Unterstützung bei der Tourenplanung/beim Ticketerwerb stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung. BEST hostel of our trip

Of all the hostels my friends and I (two 17F and one 18F) stayed at, El Granado was by far our favorite! And we went to nuuumerous cities in five different countries. The staff were endlessly helpful and pleasant, our private room was incredibly affordable and clean/comfy (YAY air conditioning), and the other people we met were kind, funny, and came from a huge variety of home countries--they definitely enriched our time in Granada. Maybe best of all, the hostel organized near daily events and activities that made our stay SO special. My favorite was the flamenco show they took us to (extremely cheaply, compared to what they usually are), but we also liked the traditional Spanish dinner on the rooftop, it was a great way to meet people and experience the culture a little more intimately. Finally, the location is really great. You can walk to the Alhambra, the Albaicin, and a whole lot of other cool cultural places. There's a place called "Bohemia Jazz Cafe" literally five minutes down the street that has live music and the best ambience imaginable, if you're looking for something to do in the wee hours of the morning. Anyway, we love you El Granado! Next time I'm in Granada, I will be back for sure :)

Traditional hostel

The best hostel in Granada. I have stayed here several times. The staff is pleasant and helpful, wide offer of activities every day. The rooms are spacious and I love the building itself. The patio, the two terraces and kitchen are amazing. The whole place has an easy-going and traditional feeling, more like a community, than your typical modern, sterile hostel where you just spend a night and move on. Definitely recommended, I'd come back anytime.

Great Hostel + Incredible Walking Tour

I had a very pleasant stay at El Granado in Granada. The facilities are great, the AC was perfect, the terraces very nice, and a good working area. I can confirm that the lockers were of sufficient size for my luggage, and the bunks had privacy curtains. The pricing was amazing as well, do not let that scare you away, I would have paid double what I did for this hostel.
In addition, I have been travelling for 11 weeks, have taken more than 10 walking tours, and the walking tour run El Granado in Granada has been the best by far. Fede the tour guide, born and raised in Granada, took us to the oldest neighborhood in the city, gave us some deep historical insight, gave incredible food/drink recommendations, and ended the tour positioned to watch a beautiful sunset.
I highly recommend this hostel and the free, tip-based walking tour run by the hostel with Fede.

Granadas best kept secret

One of my favourite hostels in the whole world. It's a place I've been coming back to for years, because it really feeks like a home and the location is somehow perfect.
It's got a nice mix of both long term and short term guests.
The building really feels like it's been designed by some clever architects, combining top modern facilities with historical details. It's simple and compact, but with a soul and comfort that I think will surprises those who stay there.
The staff and voulenteers really create a sense of community, and it's s always good vibes on the rooftop!
If I was to suggest some improvements, it would be to redo the interior decoration and furnishing of the outdoor areas, especially on the rooftop. The rooftop outdoor space could be turned into an moroccan inspired oasis, keeping guests cool and comfortable even during the hot hours of the day. It could be turned into an attraction of the hostel itself, if done correctly!
And also, one of the best things about staying in El Granado is that you get acess to one of the absolute best tour guides in all of Granada. She is a firework of a human, and will take you to the flamenco, to tapas bars and hiking into the mountains if you so desire. It's worth visiting El Granado just for acess to those experiences alone!
