Lovely hotel
Location was fine some other restaurants etc nearby at the beachfront but definately an area of all inclusive hotels so not loads to do in the immediate vicinity. That said, it’s nice to walk for 5 mins to the bars etc along the beach and also taxis are plentiful if you need them.
My only downside to the stay was that I was on the sofa bed and it was rather uncomfortable. A thicker mattress is needed as could really feel the bed frame through the one used.

Great holiday
Seafront location, stayed in March, no queues for sunbeds. Short bus ride into Nerja at minimal cost. Will definitely return.

⭐ 1/5 – Very disappointing experience
We stayed at this hotel for 7 days with our 2-year-old child, and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had.
We travel 2–3 times a year and stay at different hotels in different countries, so we are not expecting perfection. However, for the price this hotel charges, we expected a much higher level of service and a much more family-friendly experience.
From the moment we arrived, we were disappointed. We had paid in advance to have the minibar stocked, but it was completely empty. The explanation we received was that we had arrived late. This is not an acceptable reason when the service has already been paid for.
The biggest disappointment was the attitude towards families with very young children. We were told that we could not accompany our 2-year-old child on the slides and that the child had to manage everything alone. Seriously? Expecting a 2-year-old to climb and use the slides completely independently is absolutely unreasonable for a hotel that presents itself as family-friendly.
The restaurant experience was also frustrating. There were queues everywhere, including queues just to be shown to a table, even when there were plenty of tables available. This felt completely unnecessary and only created more waiting. The food itself was actually quite decent, but the constant queues made every meal much less enjoyable.
The service at the pool bar was another disappointment. Some of the staff were extremely unfriendly and impolite, which is certainly not what you expect when paying this kind of money for a holiday.
Another major issue was the sun loungers. Every morning, people were putting towels on loungers to “reserve” them, while around 90% of those guests were not even there. As a result, finding an available sun lounger was extremely difficult. The hotel clearly needs to do something about this.
For such a huge hotel, there are also surprisingly few restaurants and bars, which makes the queues and overcrowding even worse.
To be fair, not everything was bad. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and did a good job. Our room was cleaned regularly, and we even received some nice little gifts in the room. The buffet waiters were also polite and helpful.
Unfortunately, the positive aspects were not enough to compensate for the overall experience.
We would definitely not return to this hotel and cannot recommend it. It is especially disappointing because we came with high expectations and paid a significant amount of money for the accommodation, food and overall holiday experience.
For the price they charge, we expected much more. In our opinion, this hotel has a lot to improve, especially when it comes to customer service, organisation and being genuinely family-friendly.
One star from us. We would not come back.

As for the water slides, these attractions are subject to specific height, age and safety regulations, which are applied to all guests with the aim of ensuring the safety of children using the facilities. These areas are supervised by trained professionals who are responsible for applying the established safety procedures for all children using the attractions.
Furthermore, as a large family resort, certain areas such as restaurants, pool bars and swimming pools may experience higher occupancy levels during peak periods, and our teams work continuously to organise the service and assist guests throughout the day.
