Quirky
This from booking.com makes no sense to me at all, we saw nothing resembling any of that.
""Moocoworking has free bikes, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Loei. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and room service, along with free WIFI throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.""
This is for Moocoworking in Loei.
With the King hotel being not up to standard on our last visit to Loei we looked for somewhere else and settled on Moocoworking, very close by in a great location.
A strange name for a quirky place.
The name comes from a bit of office/private working area.
The reception was via the front door is not connected to the rooms which are via a rear door which always seem to provide open access to the rooms so maybe a slight security risk.
The rooms were very nice and comfortable and no problems at all and maybe the best room cleaner I’ve ever known who tidied up my mess and even neatly folded up my glasses and put them somewhere safe.
Breakfast was at another restaurant/bar about 150m away and was a very nice for 150 baht.
It was a simple cooked breakfast, or continental, not huge but all we wanted and nicely cooked.
Perhaps those with a more American appetite might want more.
The only problem for us was that we didn’t know how to pay for the breakfasts, ie pay the breakfast place, though they never asked for anything, pay the hotel at check-out or maybe booking.com had already paid but that seemed very unlikely.
We went to check-out all prepared to pay the 600 baht but at 8.30am the reception was locked with no-one in sight, not even a cleaner.
No letterbox either.
As we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us and no idea what time someone would appear all we could do was go home and hope that if we did owe money they could contact us via booking.com but that never happened.
As a summary, we enjoyed this hotel very much and will certainly stay there next time we are in Loei.
