First time and won't be the last time
We've never visited Budapest before, but picked his hotel as it looked a great place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
We were not disappointed, such a beautiful hotel and city!!
All staff members we engaged during our four night stay were very helpful indeed.
The hotel is so beautiful, as soon as you enter it has the wow affect.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast. We ate three times in the atrium and once in the brasserie.
The hotel is really well maintained and their choice of flowers which come from next door are beautiful.
We love walking, so found the hotel which is in district Vll the Jewish quarter ideal for us as a base. A few buildings along had the famous New York cafe.
Loved this hotel and loved Budapest. When we come back to this city, there's no doubt which hotel we will choose.

Such a beautiful hotel
We stayed for a couple of nights at this incredible hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous from the decor, to the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. We went into the spa one afternoon and was warned that it was super busy but still very much enjoyed! The location is also excellent for exploring Budapest, within walking distance of most attractions. Will definitely be booking another stay!

Great hotel in Budapest
Location was great, rooms were clean and tidy, I enjoyed my breakfast every morning, and all the staffs here were full of smile in their faces, we had a great time to stay here! Thank you!

A proper traditional 5 star hotel who has got everything spot on
Sorry, forgot to write my review. Stunning hotel, relaxing, beautiful suite, lovely restaurants and bars, could not fault anything. Concierge very helpful multiple times and would definitely visit again at a different time of year

Hotel itself is stunning. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by a beautiful entrance adorned with flowers, a regal staircase, and architecture that reflects the property’s rich history. The public spaces are elegant creating a sense of grandeur.
One thoughtful touch was the birthday cake and treats placed in our room. We appreciated that they were delivered while we were out, so it was a lovely surprise.Wish they were present upon initial arrival.
Breakfast was a highlight of our stay, thanks to Anna, our waitress. She was warm, attentive, and consistently made sure we had everything we needed.
There were a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. Given that we were celebrating a significant milestone birthday, I had hoped a room upgrade might have been considered.
Included in our stay we had access to the Executive Lounge and encountered some service inconsistencies. Left a bottle of Taittinger champagne in the lounge with a young lady in the morning so it would be properly chilled for our return that evening. Unfortunately, another attendant simply handed us the bottle back in its original box. After requesting an ice bucket, we waited approximately an hour and ultimately ended up serving the champagne ourselves.
Additionally, there was a young child doing cartwheels and repeatedly touching and sampling multiple desserts. While families are certainly welcome, it diminished the atmosphere one might expect from an executive-level space.
The spa was enjoyable, though we were surprised to learn we needed to return to our room to retrieve our bathrobes before using the facilities.
Finally, while our room was comfortable, some of the furniture showed noticeable signs of wear and use…
With a few improvements in service consistency and room upkeep, the experience could match the grandeur of the property itself. I hope to see some of these details refined in the future.
