Dieses Hotel ist 2 km von Burggarten-Basar und 2,1 km von Burgpalast entfernt. Genieße von folgendem Punkt aus den schönen Ausblick: Terrasse. Excellent hotel with very good staff.

We booked the hotel at the last minute through LoveHolidays. The room we'd booked wasn't available, so they upgraded us at no extra cost.
The hotel was easy to get to from where the airport bus dropped us in Pest. Using there BudapestGo app we'd bought a 72 hour pass, so took another bus which dropped us right outside the hotel.
Check in was easy and we were shown to our room which was on the 6th floor. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is very clean and the facilities are very good, Our room was a Studio Deluxe and was very comfortable. The only thing that would been better is if they had provided a few more complimentary thing such as the shampoo/body wash and tea, coffee & milk.
We paid for breakfast each morning and it was excellent. A buffet breakfast with plenty of options.
With several bus stops close to the hotel it's easy to plan your trips to the sights, but we also took advantage of the excellent taxis (Bolt/Uber) which are cheap and reliable. There isn't much in the immediate area, but on our first day we had a late lunch in the hotel restaurant and the food and service were very good.
You'd be nearer to the action if you stayed in Pest, but otherwise I can highly recommend Hotel Charles and would definitely return there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast, a bit noisy from the traffic. Would definitely stay there again!

This is by no means Waldorf Astoria or Hilton, but it is the next best thing! An old fashioned hotel that delivers on their promise: A clean bed and helpful, kind staff. My room even had a separate kitchen. Technically, I got an apartment that would have cost a fortune other places. If you want a nice, quiet hotel with several bus lines taking you into downtown Budapest in 10 minutes, this is it!

Hotel Charles was the best part of our Budapest trip, the staff were incredibly helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. The rooms are extremely spacious and have a small kitchenette with minibar and TV that can connect to various streaming services. Very reasonably priced hotel, minibar and restaurant not expensive either and certainly much more reasonable than city centre. Although it's a bit out of the city centre we would highly recommend it for the excellent service.

The big plus is the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Everyone spoke enough English to answer all my questions and went well beyond what you expect from the staff, especially given the moderate price of the hotel. The room is unusually large for Europe and included a tiny kitchenette with a fridge. The location is not central but a six minute walk takes you to a main tram line that connects to everything. I'm a senior and transit is free for seniors. Budapest is very hilly and so I used the transit instead of walking.
