The Deco hotel is our favourite place to stay in Canberra. We have stayed in range of the 1-bed and 2-bed apartment configurations since 2020, and every stay is perfect! We cannot fault anything.
The staff are consistently helpful and always have accommodated my requests, and the housekeeping staff are incredible. I do not know how they keep the showers looking as if they have just been built after 6 years.
Parking is free, and easy to access.
Rooms are very quiet considering the locations near Northbourne Ave. and Braddon.
Apartments are very generously sized, great kitchen, laundry and well equipped with large sofas, + we have always had a balcony with chairs and table.
Lovely bedding, range of pillows and good quality linens.
The on-site restaurant, which we have only used once, is also very good.
Special mention of Harpreet, on front desk, who has assisted us on our last 2 stays. His customer service is excellent - thank you!
I feel the accomm is excellent value for the quality of the hotel and highly recommend

Great stay in Canberra

Booking online was painless and we got a good price. We were automatically upgraded to a one bedroom apartment which was appreciated. Parking was complimentary as we had booked directly with the hotel.
The room was clean, the amenities first class and the staff were friendly.
Location was great and not far from shopping centres and places of interest.
This is my go to hotel when staying in Canberra.

Book it!

Outstanding service from staff and beautiful facilities. The rooms are high level and have every feature you could want. Parking was easy, lovely onsite restaurant and bar, and the staff were always available. Booked directly with the hotel which was easy and we got a great price. They were very helpful with changes I needed to make and so friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here and would go back again.

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but the Deco

We have been to the Deco at least a dozen times and never think of staying anywhere else as it never disappoints. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the staff are always friendly, professional and helpful. We also enjoy eating at their restaurant 214, as well as having a drink in the cosy bar. Deco offers a daily happy hour in the bar, and credit/vouchers for food, beverage, or room charges if you opt out of daily room service/housekeeping. They are good value and also offer worthwhile email special accommodation prices.
As someone well travelled, I highly recommend the Deco Hotel in the such a handy Canberra location.

We thought it was great.

A little north of the CBD on Northbourne Ave everywhere north of Lake Burley Griffin is easily accessible . The Southside is easliy accessible too - the drive/s are a little longer, but easy. The atmosphere is polished and professional but the friendliness and co-operative dispostion of the staff make interactions a pleasure. The rooms are suitably sized for whatever choice one makes, clean and in good condition and very competitively priced. While Northbourne Ave is a main thoroughfare there was no intrusive noise at all during our stay. I won't list all the amenities ( since I never used the Gymnasium) but the restaurant bar and room service are great! The only other thing I might mention is that the beds are very comfortable and we slept well - and the climate control is very efficient. The touch-control light switching is fun!! :o)
