Very good experience again

Very good hotel, nice and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast with a good selection of cheese, teas and fresh orange juice, very nice and helpful staff. It is very close to the slopes and the lifts, as well close to the village center and SPAR supermarket.

Great family run hotel

Great service - super nice staff That is very helpful. We had a challenge charging my electric vehicle but the owner was very kind and helped us out. Great breakfast and great view. The bike garage has everything you need for a great biking trip.

Another outstanding stay

Stayed for a week's skiing in January, fourth year in a row and as always this hotel delivers an amazing stay. Well located in the village with the option of skiing in and out. The food is excellent and service outstanding. ski/boot room is well located and heated. The bedrooms are spacious and kept immaculate. The family are just so welcoming and demonstrate all that is great about Austrian tourism. thankyou for your hospitality.

Great value accommodation

I recently stayed at Hotel Schachner for a week in January 2019.
I highly recommend this hotel. It is short flat walk to the Ubahn Gondola and is located next to the ski school and Spar shop in the main street of Hinterglemm and is not near any noisy night spots.Our room and the hotel were of a high standard and were always clean.
Breakfast is buffet and all that you need and the dinner in the restaurant is typical Austrian meals at very reasonable prices.
The hotel is run by the Schachner family who provide some of the best genuine personal service that I have experienced.Nothing was too much trouble for them or their staff.
For example they let friends of ours who were not staying at this hotel store their luggage there for a short period of time and then called a taxi for them free of charge.
When I asked Mrs Schachner for the location of the bus stop without me asking she looked up the bus timetable told me the time of the bus that i should catch and arranged for her husband to drive myself and my wife the short distance to the bus stop free of charge.

ANOTHER FANTASTIC VISIT

Stayed here for the third time. Immaculately clean, great food and well located for the slopes. Boot room is well located and always warm. The bar is an excellent place to relax after a long day on the slopes. The family and staff make you feel so welcome, almost like part of the family.
Cant recommend highly enough.
