I love Larnaca!

We were pleasantly surprised about the confort and the quality of boarding in Sun Hall Hotel! Clean and spacious rooms, good quality of personnel, reception, cleaning (!!!), restaurant, everybody who works in the hotel. Normal, I consider, it is not a cheap hotel.
Good breakfast! even if every day was the some variety, anyone could choose something different every day.
The bigest surprise was the hotel restaurant: very good prices comparing to almost all the others restaurants in the area, excellent prepared and excellent served (thank you especially to Aura).
A big plus is the sea view! Astoning views, especially when we had a big storm!
A big minus the late check-out sistem: free for two hours (bravo) but if you need more (we needed till 20.00 with a 2 years baby-girl and the change of the flight home) you have to pay for entire day, meaning 185 euro.
As an advice, choose sea view rooms as high as posible! I repeat, the view is superb!
We will be back for sure! Thank you all!

I have a soft spot for the Sunhall, based on many trips to Larnaca. Location is great, the food is good (lots of it), and cheaper than any of the nearby eateries on the seafront. The rooms are a good size, the staff are all lovely and the pool outback is a great place to hang when it’s too hot to be in direct sunshine on the beach. The pool gets plenty of sunshine though, after about 11am, if that’s your thing. Top tips: Thanos who runs the bar is a lovely man who’s very good with the customers and mixes a mean drink. Also if you rent a car at the airport park it in a free car park which is a 7 minute walk, west through the bus terminus. Don’t worry about driving through the bus terminus - you won’t get shouted at. But don’t follow satnav to the hotel front door cos you can’t park there. Go two blocks past the right-turn for the hotel (when driving from the airport) and then turn right towards the sea and the car park is just near the bus terminus. The hotel is sited near good pharmacies, mini-markets round the corner and several banks to change money at a proper rate. At the time of writing (4/8/26) don’t think about driving round Larnaca because they’re changing the roads with new pipes and cobbles replacing old tarmac: many roads are blocked. But everything you need is within a 15 walk anyway. If you want a haircut go to ‘Bam’s’…. Never had a bad trim there :) And no, I’m not on a commission from the Sunhall or Bam’s ! :-)

Service needs improvement

The hotel is well located, the room is quite large and well equipped but lets in a huge amount of light (view facing the sea)
The pool is decent and pleasant.
The breakfast is super good, the cocktails are good and inexpensive.
However, at that price, the front desk staff is not up to par at all.
Too bad, especially since the waitresses (bar/pool) are.

We are so satisfied with our choice of hotel,the staff were helpful and friendly,the location was great,especially the view from the hotel room,the breakfast was good.

Very nice hotel in Larnaca downtown(with a pool)

A very central hotel in downtown Larnaca,close to the beach,restaurabts and shopping area. Rooms are large and clean . A loaded mini bar would be a good thing instead of a small fridge though a complimentary bottle of water by day is a nice gesture. Staff is friendly and helpful (a special note to Effi). Breakfast is very good with lots of choice. I recommand.
