A week of bliss… could have stayed a lot longer!

What a fantastic find. Lovely hotel central to most areas. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with very welcomed air conditioning! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, making for a very enjoyable stay. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting each evening with a selection of free nibbles.
We cannot praise your staff enough and would not hesitate in recommending The Cavendish and hope to return sometime soon.

The staff were wonderful and the historic building was beautiful, so I wanted to enjoy my stay. However, I was a bit disappointed during my brief stay. The hotel website boasts soundproofing but throughout my stay I heard slamming doors, people in the hallway, my neighbors talking, and the footsteps of those staying above me. I expect some sounds but this was more than I expected from a hotel, especially if they list soundproofing on their website. The air conditioning was very poor. This is not my first time to the area and I don’t expect frozen tundras like in other countries but even with the AC on, when I was in my room I was sweating and very uncomfortable. The location was fine and for the price everything else about the hotel was great. However, I don’t foresee myself staying here again.

Excellent

Warm welcome. Beautiful room (Rotunda) with a view. Despite its location on the busy Rue Carnot, you cannot hear any traffic inside. Within walking distance of the city centre. The breakfast is fresh and well-prepared. Unique to the hotel is the antique elevator from 1920.

Hotel Cavendish is really amazing! You get a lot for your money. The staff is very attentive and professional and the hotel is really clean and well maintained. The breakfast superb and as a Scandinavian we are VERY picky with breakfast. We stayed in Rotunda the best room on the top floor and it is gorgeous. Location is also good. We will be back! <3

Nice hotel

Very friendly hotel and very central location. It is a hotel with good vibes and the icing on the cake is that the hotel offers its guests an aperitif between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM to get to know the other guests.
