3rd stay here standards maintained

Location by the Nantes- Brest canal is second to none. Rooms are clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Good breakfast. Choice of restaurants nearby and plenty to see in Chateauneuf du Faou.....

I went to Tranquil Waters on Feb 1 because I was traveling for work in the area.
I have stayed at this property for 2 years now.
Each time I receive a paper invoice, so that I can get my expenses refunded by my company.
Except that on 1 February tranquil waters explained to me that they no longer make any paper bill as I would get mar mail an invoice.
Very good but we are today February 11 and I still have not received this famous invoice.
I have to contact the booking site "booking.com" so that they can contact them but still nothing! Impossible to join them to the tel and they do not reply to the emails sent.
I find it lamentable! And I wanted to report it !!!
Another thing they accept only the regulations in cash !!!!
So no trace .....
In any case establishment to be avoided urgently !!!!!!

Don't go in winter

The owner does not live on site,we discovered this after waiting for ten minutes until a neighbour told us we had to ring for access, good job we speak french! we then waited twenty minutes in the cold for someone to arrive, the house was cold no heating was on,the radiator in the room was just warm sometimes,this is not a b&b in the normal sense, being alone all night is disconcerting,The bathroom was accessed by a common stairway, not good at the price charged,the room was clean except for a very mangy rug on the floor there are no rugs by the beds, you step onto cold boards,we could not get warm the whole time we were there.The room was not serviced the second day, no clean cups etc despite being out by the appointed time of 11 am.Breakfast was reasonable

perfect setting

Boating. Cycling, Walking. English specking great food next door, there is a lovely chateau to visit just 5 mins away a 3 to 4 hour visit. this spot is a great overnight stay or one or two days. Breakfast was the best i have ever had and a great selection off the menu. i loved this place it was just like home and was so relaxing i will be visiting again for sure and maybe taken my pushbike next time.

Excellent

Very nice room in lovely Chambre D'Hote. Excellent location. Good breakfast and facilities. Very nice to have tea and coffee making facilities which is not at all typical in France. Ideal place to stay if you are cycling or walking the canal.
