Exceptional sleeping comfort, despite a retreating catering offer

I attribute 4.5/5 to the hotel part of Bikube where I had an excellent stay from April 1 to 4, 2026. Ideally located near Sans Souci metro station, U grocery store, bars and restaurants. The check-in was quick and the staff very welcoming.
Highlights: The quality of sleep is incredible. The soundproofing is perfect and the darkness total. The bed and pillows are of rare comfort, superior to what is sometimes found in 5 stars. The room is functional, with a small but well-equipped kitchenette, a very convenient sitting/office area and access to coworking spaces. Only small flat: the sheets breathe little, which causes some heat at night.
However, my overall experience was slightly tarnished by the restaurant part (bar and restaurant) which is not at the same level of excellence as the hotel, which is a shame for an establishment of this standing (see detailed opinion on the restaurant and "bar"). I highly recommend for the stay, but would advise looking around for meals and drinks.

Cleanliness was average; there were unpleasant odors in both the hotel and the room. Parking is available.

We (2 adults) came for 4 nights to explore Lyon our our way to Voiron. Bikube is an adorable hotel with many accommodations for food or just lounging around. Our room was queen with a small kitchenette. It was perfect for our needs as we spent most of our time wandering Lyon. This hotel is not in the city center but across from a metro stop and a 5 minute walk to a tram which goes straight to the main train station.
Tons of cafes and restaurants around. There’s an intermarche barely 500m down the street.
The room was super quiet at night. The AC worked well. The window has an auto blind that keeps all the light and sound out.
I really couldn’t ask for more.
Thanks!
