Lovely hotel, perfectly situated in the town of Grafing. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable room, four stars given because no tea or coffee available in the rooms nor air-conditioning and was very hot weather.
These two things are not a complaint, just that they are not available.
Otherwise lovely staff, pretty garden to sit in and a great breakfast, so overall, a lovely hotel...would definitely stay here again.

Quite a Pleasant Stay

The hotel is pretty okay. I had the single room and it was very tight. I thought Hong Kong hotel rooms were small, this was even smaller! From the front door, you can take 2 steps to the toilet, 4 to the bed, 5 to the table and the grand tour is over in less than 8 steps! My only complaint was that the pillow (yes, only one) was too soft! Folding over itself 3 times still didn't help, I had a crick in my neck the next morning. Please remember to use your physical key to lock the room door once you have entered (do not assume it will lock itself, 'cos it doesn't).
My shower was in the room itself and you can see from the pics, it's see-through! The blinds were so thin that I often wondered if I was providing free show to the building across the road. There is a bakery just opposite that opens really early, so you might get some noise (cars, chatter, etc.). The town is so darn quiet that I cringed each time my luggage rollers made noise over the cobblestone paths and I had to sleep with music on.
There are no lifts, so please get help with your heavy luggage.
There's a booking machine in front of the hotel for after hours. Breakfast is simple yet adequate. WiFi is good and comes with a relatively stable speed. Surrounding the hotel building there's lots of quaint shops that you could window shop. Walk around and soak in the countryside feel. I recommend walking towards the gymnasium where you get to pass by the stream/drain. The water is so clear with fishes and ducks bathing in them.
Language barrier is indeed a challenge. They're not unfriendly, they just appear so because they don't understand you. I wrote an email to them prior to my visit and they didn't get back to me at all!
So, if you wanna get to this place cheap from the airport, you'll need to take the S-bahn. Take either the S1 or S8 to the interchange at München Leuchtenbergring before switching to the S4. Total journey time is about an hour or so. There's no escalator/lift at the interchange station, so if you're carrying big luggage(s) you'll have to lug them up the stairs. Luckily there's not a lot of stairs. It's a relatively short walk and if you follow Google Maps walking instructions you won't have problems finding it (I did it close to midnight). Look higher up the building to see it's signboard.

The Real Bavaria

My husband and I travelled to Grafing b Munchen and stayed at this little hotel for 8 nights. We chose it for convenience, 2 minute walk from his sisters place. Also free parking and Internet access and a breakfast buffet. We loved it! Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony planted with hanging geraniums. There was no elevator but the stairs compensated for the amazing breakfast.
Hasi's Hotel is central and walking distance to everything downtown. Grafing is a true Bavarian small town...a little gem. We had a car but the train is only an hour from downtown Munich.
Rated 3 star but deserving of more. We plan to stay here when ever we visit family in Grafing.
Only one thing...the bed side lamps have not all been changed to LED and the halogen bulb heated up to the point I burned my arm. Be careful. Perhaps this will be fixed soon as I did mention it to the desk.

Average Hotel

This trip was unplanned and we ended up stuck here due to train diversions after an incident in central Munich. As such, we were grateful that what appeared to be the only hotel in the town had an available room.
Reception was small but tidy (with a random jar of Haribo type sweets on the counter) but the friendliness of the staff was somewhat questionable.
The room itself was a decent size and had two covers for the double bed which eliminated the usual tussling of the cover when one person gets too hot or cold. It also included a desk which was a decent size. Instead of your usual mint on the pillow you were given a small pack of gummy bears.
And that is about where the positives end. There was only one chair in the room so my partner ended up sat next to me (whilst we were planning strategies and updating people of the situation) on the luggage holder. The bedding had a distinctly musty smell which I did not appreciate or like and the bathroom was in need of some updating; there was a large hole above the shower head and it was very obvious where they had originally had the ceiling lights before they moved them. This being said, they had attempted to make it a bit more guest-friendly with the usually miniature shower gels and a candle above the bathroom sink. There was also no air-conditioning in the room which was a considerable negative considering the temperature was in the late 20s early 30s.
The next morning we had breakfast which was a more than acceptable selection of pastry, bread, cereal and fruit. As a result of not sleeping particularly well (despite the room actually being quite considering the hotel's location on a main street) I had a coffee which was very nice and, more importantly, very large!
If you are travelling with luggage be aware that there are no lifts in the hotel, just stairs so you may struggle.
Considering this was a 3* hotel and that I had stayed in a 3* hotel in Salzburg earlier that week, the difference was striking. Overall, I felt that this hotel was tired and was in desperate need of some love and attention. If this is done, this could potentially become a pleasant hotel.
The ice cream shop across the road was very tasty and is definitely worth a visit!

Quite OK

Friendly staff, English is a challenge - but they are really trying their best.
Clean rooms with 90ish interior - however not a problem while sleeping :-).
Bathrooms more modern and very tidy.
No elevator - so much luggage or bad physical state, not recommended.
On the other side of the street - fantastic icecream - don't miss it.
They have a Michelin guide recommendation for the restaurant. That is a lunch restaurant mind you, which closes at around eight.
In sum quite ok !
