The hotel rates itself at 4 points on Booking.com. According to Booking.com compared to industry standards, which unfortunately does not match our perspective. We had an apartment (2 floors). The room was visually nicely furnished, but unfortunately not very comfortable or practical. Although there was plenty of space, there were hardly any options to hang up jackets and towels (only 2 hooks hung on the entrance door and on the bathroom door, and a heated towel rack). Regarding the individual areas: Bathroom: There were only four hanging options at the bathroom door on two hooks and the heated towel rack, which is only sufficient for one large towel. At the sink, towels could only be placed next to the basin on the shelf. The water pressure was far too low for showering, which was annoying with longer hair. The shower fixtures were not well maintained (photo). There would have been enough space to simply place a few towel racks. The hairdryer and toilet were fine. Living area: Unfortunately, it was far too dark. There is no lighting above the dining table, especially since it is in a nook. The kitchenette was very small; we only had a refrigerator without a freezer, 2 burners, and the advertised coffee machine. Some of the dishes were not clean, so we first had to clean everything we wanted to use (photo). The sofa looked nice but was impractical. One could neither sit nor lie down comfortably on it. The balcony is nice and the view is beautiful. Sleeping area: The stairs are an adventure, the lamps by the bed were connected to the wrong outlet, which we discovered rather by chance. A few outlets are switchable; we only noticed this by chance and then connected the lamps there, so one could turn on the light from both downstairs and upstairs. A few hints and oversight from the hosts would have been nice. At nearly 170 cm, I could not stand next to the bed; it is really cramped. I would not want to sleep here in the summer; although it was still quite cold outside at night, it became far too warm in the sleeping area at night. There is a mosquito net only at the balcony door downstairs, which hardly helps in the summer. We (and our) neighbors had problems with the Wi-Fi reception in the apartment; after we informed the owners, we were supposed to check the hallway to see if a booster was plugged into the outlet, but that was not the case. The hosts wanted to check this later; the next day at breakfast, it was just said that everything was fine, yes, maybe in front of the apartment. We would have had the red ring on the door, so he could not get in. Yes, sorry, we are on vacation and had laid down again. Previously, one could just call, but that apparently did not work there. If he could now be in the room, that would be fine. We returned from breakfast; everything was said to be fine. No, it is not; we had 5! Devices with it, and none of them worked (user error, as if). We could also connect to the Wi-Fi; the reception was just so weak that the internet did not work (photo). What he should do now, he then tried it with the booster that was asked about above, and oh wonder, after that everything worked! I can only agree with the not-so-good reviews here; friendliness is different. The breakfast is very good, and the staff is also very nice. So as long as one has no complaints, everything is nice. However, for rating oneself with 4 points, quite a few things do not fit (e.g., a missing safe).
