Here you are almost friend than just hotel guest.

I stayed at Guesthouse Mainz for 3 weeks and am still happy to have made this choice. Even the contact in advance was very friendly and not at all distant, already then a good gut feeling set in. Upon arrival I was personally welcomed and a few basic data were explained to me. My room with balcony and view into the countryside, on a beautiful park I liked straight away. Everything was as described. A modern bathroom, a small kitchenette with kitchenette and sufficient equipment, also with tea and for a coffee in the room. Room service was very attentive and prudent. Every morning there was an inclusive breakfast, so I could start the day well with sweet or savoury things, with coffee or tea and juice as desired. All the staff, whether that was dear Sabrina at the reception or Mr. Nuss or everyone else who was on duty there, were so warm and nice that you almost felt like a friend of the house, than as a hotel guest.
The location of the house is unbeatable, the main train station Mainz is just a stone's throw away, right next to it there is a stop for public transport, there are plenty of shopping in the immediate vicinity and you can also easily get to the center on foot.
Attention distinguished all staff from the guesthouse, for example, if something ran out at breakfast, was immediately responded and refilled. Those who wanted could get excursion tips or other information at the reception. I felt welcome at any time, even my dog was a very welcome "fellow traveler". We felt completely comfortable and would always choose the Guesthouse Mainz and recommend it to others.

Cozy and central.

Highlight the friendliness of the reception people, one of them, speaks perfectly Spanish. Super complete apartment, very comfortable beds. Breakfast included, very good. The location of the apartment is perfect to know the highlights of Mainz.

Great hotel near train station

This hotel proved very convenient being close to the station and a short walk to the marketplace and old town. Our room was well appointed with a good bathroom, - with nice amenities. The little ‘kitchen’ had a sink, a kettle and coffeemaker plus a microwave and stove. We had a terrace with a view to the cathedral, where we sat with a beer and some sun. The staff were very friendly . The breakfast was minimal but satisfactory. Overall a very good stay.

Visit to Mainz

Very central hotel to visit the most popular places in Mainz, very attentive staff, correct breakfast with variety and the room with new and clean bathroom items, a very good experience staying at the GuestHouse hotel.

Quite alright

The guesthouse is practically close to the train station and convenient to the city center, and there are several nice restaurants around the corner. I had a double room for single use with a small kitchenette. Since I was there for several days, it was very nice to have a kettle, otherwise I didn't use the kitchen, and the very loud refrigerator was rather disturbing when sleeping. Overall, it was quite thin, I had a lot of disturbing noises (footsteps, banging, loud humming of appliances and music) from the building. With the window closed, the street noise was OK thanks to good windows. Biggest criticisms: 1. my room window faced the street and the guesthouse sign shines extremely brightly into the room. 2. it was much too warm in the room (with outside temperatures well below 20 degrees), no matter what I had set on the temperature control.
