Those who like modesty will find a place of peace.

We stayed here with our dog for three nights. The bungalow is not suitable for a longer stay. However, the staff here are very friendly, the breakfast is perfect, and it is an ideal starting point for tours in the Schlaubetal. If you like luxury, this is not the place for you.

Disappointment

We chose our stay at the Kumerower Hof because of the beer bath offered and the gastronomy provided on-site. Since I am disabled, it was burdensome for me to drive into the surrounding area for meals (except breakfast). For those passing through or mobile people, it is certainly a solution to stay there. The landscape is also beautiful. It was not mentioned in the description that the beer bath and the gastronomy on-site no longer exist. Too bad!

Cannot recommend

We booked accommodation in the Kummerower Hof bungalows for one night. Although we received a confirmation of our booking, on our arrival at the place we found out that we needed a code which no one had sent us and there was no one on site to help us. After three hours of waiting and unsuccessful attempts to reach the accommodation, the lady arrived and opened the cottage for us. No explanation nor apology. Breakfast was not fresh and food like meat and salmon was spoiled. The cabins themselves were spacious, clean and tastefully decorated, which is useless if you can't get in.

lovely little spot

Surprised some of the previous reviews were so negative. Smart clean well organised with a number of log cabins at the rear of the main building as well as rooms above resturant. Log cabins very well appointed with settee table chairs TV hairdryer etc with children's bed above main bed in a loft. Lovely quiet location if beer garden not in use. Wouldn't be so much fun in wet or cold weather as cabin doors lead directly outside and you have to walk to restaurant. Lovely touch was underfloor heating and towelrail can on in morning.
We booked half board mistake!! No choice of meal and served at 6 pm.
So we cancelled and ordered from menu at 7 or so. And it worked out same price anyway.food good and a nice choice. Breakfast adequate but very conscious of portion control. Had to ask for more bread and scrambled eggs ran out
Overall good accm food OK waitress helpful but lacked a friendliness or warmth. hotel places a lot of importance on it family and team but came across as a means of making money more than a hospitality thing i,ll Leave the beer spa to others

Accueil succinct..
