Great stay in the 3-person room

This time, we were booked in the 3-person room that comes with a double bed and single twin bed. The room was very big with a separate area and door for the bathroom, entrance and closet. A very nice stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Nurnberg Eibach area. As always, the breakfast is very fresh and wonderful. The cappuccino is the best.

Attractive

For business reasons I needed an overnight stay in Nuremberg-Eibach and came across the Eibacher Hof in my search. The telephone contact was made via an associated catering company, because the reception is only manned during the week from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. I received a booking confirmation for room plus breakfast quickly. The behaviour of the hotel operator was also very popular when I suddenly had to cancel my stay due to illness of my training manager. I would like to thank you very much for that.
Recently I was able to stay at the Eibacher Hof. To gain access to the hotel on Sunday evening, I was given a key code that applied to both the main entrance and my room. That worked. In the room itself there was a kind of key with access chip on the desk, as well as a voucher for breakfast, which had to be redeemed in the bakery on the ground floor of the Eibacher Hof (“Der Beck”).
My room was not excessively large, very clean, located to the rear (the Eibacher Hauptstraße runs in front) and therefore quite quiet. I found it appealing overall and slept well.
On the table were two small bottles of mineral water. There was no minibar. In the bathroom were washing utensils such as shower gel and soap and on the wall a functional hairdryer.
The voucher for breakfast was easily exchanged at the bakery. I received a tray with a large cup of coffee, two rolls, two larger slices of stone oven bread, jam, four slices of cold cuts, two slices of cheese, an egg and some “greens”. The announcement of a “tasty breakfast” in a receptionist’s email was by no means an exaggeration.
Those arriving by train walk about 1 km from Eibach train station to the hotel, the back of which adjoins a residential area with mixed development. From Nuremberg Central Station to Eibach station it is about 7 minutes or three stops. The S-Bahn runs approximately every 20 minutes. This was also feasible, and if you choose a quiet room, it is certainly more pleasant to stay at the Eibacher Hof even for a longer stay in Nuremberg than in the noisy city center.
For those who do not necessarily want to stay in a noble hotel, the Eibacher Hof is certainly a cheaper alternative. The only thing that bothered me was that the reception was not staffed or no one was there when I arrived.

ALL the pictures on Expedia show a room with a beautiful bathroom. Amenities show, hairdryers, wardrobes, daily housekeeping. One would ASSUME that a shower and/or tub was included!! ALL the pictures on Expedia show that. I had a room with a toilet and sink. The shower was down the hall and shared by the floor. Unacceptable!! This needs to be established in the description before one books.

Last-minute planned business trip

A simple but comfortable hotel, it was a really good option for my last-minute planned trip. The room was big enough, clean, had almost everything necessarry, and it was comfortable. A small fridge could have been useful though.
