Kind and helpful.

Due to a car breakdown, we ended up at Parkhotel Hegers. We were warmly welcomed. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the spa park, and we regretted not being able to use it since we only stayed there for one night. In the restaurant with a view of the greenery, there was, among other things, a delicious salad. In the morning, Mr. Hegers served a lovingly prepared breakfast, and we were able to truly enjoy our "forced vacation." Finally, Mrs. Hegers took us with our luggage to the spa house.

Nice rooms, great food, good service - excellent value for money

We have been guests at the restaurant again and again in recent years. Food and service were always a great experience: super-tasty food, friendly, attentive service and a pleasant, family atmosphere in a beautiful ambience.
This time we also used the hotel for the first time. Again, an unreservedly positive experience: nice decor of the room with good mattresses and pillows - and a great, very delicious breakfast buffet.
Therefore a clear recommendation - always happy.

Parkhotel Hegers – !!️booked and non-existent!!️

Business trip. Three nights booked at the hotel. Booking confirmation available, planning completed, reality still unsuspecting.
After a good five hours I reach the hotel parking lot. Five centimetres of pristine snow, no lanes, no footprints. Apparently, I'm the first guest since the last ice age. I park anyway – you don’t want to be petty.
The hotel itself: pitch dark. All doors shut. No light, no noise, no evidence of human activity. A building that visually looks more like “permanently closed” than “welcome.”
A look at the booking confirmation brings short-term reassurance: Check-in from 4pm to 6pm. -Good. So kill some time in Bad Wünnenberg. Coffee, driving around, growing doubt.
Back at the hotel at 4:20. Now there should be life in it. Result: exactly one lane in the snow. Mine. The house continues to be dark. Close the booth. I ring – nothing. I call – nothing. I ring longer – still nothing. Absolute radio silence. Consistent implementation of a contactless concept that apparently includes guests.
Now at the latest it becomes clear: I didn't book a hotel, I booked an idea of it. Maybe an experiment. Perhaps a philosophical statement against compulsory attendance.
With enough irony, little patience and cold feet, I luckily find another place to stay. With lights. With staff. With doors that open when you ring the bell – a surprisingly compelling business model.
Conclusion:
Three nights planned.
A hotel seen.
But never entered.
An experience that shows one thing above all: Some accommodation apparently exists only on paper.

Quiet hotel with very good cuisine

We spent a short holiday at the park hotel and felt very comfortable. The Owners are very nice and accommodating. We were happy with the room , it was just a trash bin missing. The bathroom was small but in a well-kept condition ! For food: Breakfast was served at the table except on Sunday, which my husband and I really liked as we are absolutely no friends of buffets. Mr. Hegers, the owner and chef, personally served and fulfilled all our wishes. The buffet on Sunday was rich and elaborately prepared. Particular emphasis is placed on fresh, organic ingredients from the region. The dinner menu is varied , the food was very tasty and lovingly prepared. It should also be added that the decor of the restaurant is very tasteful . If you like the plush, I recommend the 2. Hotel in town ! The Parkhotel is for us the best in Bad Wünnenberg , we can recommend it without restrictions and will gladly come back on occasion !

Development Manager

This makes my second time staying here and I just love it. The rooms are nice and the food was amazing. It has that cottage type feel about it and the park is right across the street. Makes for a wonderful run in the morning.
