The best rooms in Konica

Clean rooms, very warm hospitality, rich handmade breakfast, at a very reasonable price. Great view of Aos and next to the center of Konitsa. Very good bucket for excursions in the surrounding area. We'll visit it again at the first opportunity.

Never had such hard beds.

We stayed here for 2 nights and wished we hadn't. The room was a good size with balcony but the situation on the main road outside the village is not attractive. The furniture hadn't been changed since 1980 at least. The bed was exceedingly hard and very uncomfortable. Neither of us got much sleep. The bedcovers were too small for the bed. The bathroom was small and the shower cubicle so small that the plastic curtain clung to you as you were showering.. The taps in the basin are so high the water splashes out of the sink. No I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and certainly would not stay here again.

Simple hotel run by charming family

The Hotel Aoos is on the National Road at the foot of the village of Konitsa. It is a simple budget hotel efficently run by Vasso and her family. Our room was spotlessly clean though the bed was rather firm. We had a balcony overlooking the wonderful mountains. Breakfast was very good with delicious omelette, home made jams and cakes. The family made us very welcome giving us a welcome drink and a present of delicious bottled cherries when we left. There is wifi but it only works downstairs which was fine as there is a comfortable sitting area . There is no lift but Vasso insisted on carrying up my luggage to the second floor

Ottimo hotel, ma occhio al navigatore

Il personale è davvero molto gentile (è a conduzione famigliare), le stanze sono comode e abbastanza grandi; buoni i mobili e il letto. Buono il bagno e discreta la doccia. C'è il wi-fi. Bene il condizionatore, che è il risultato silenzioso.
Buona la qualità del sonno.
La colazione è davvero buona, varia e decisamente abbondante.
Da migliorare le coordinate su Google Maps: se si segue il navigatore si arriva sul retro dell'albergo, che non è ben indicato.

Μαγεία

Ειναι ίσως το ποιο εντυπωσιακό τοπίο στην Ηπειρο. Η χαράδρα του Αώου σε κάνει να νιώθεις λιγο πιο κοντά στο Θεό . Απίθανη διαδρομή μέσα στη φύση . Ειναι ονειρικός περιπάτος δίπλα στο πεντακάθαρο ποτάμι, μέσα σε ενα υπέροχο φυσικό τοπίο .
