Lovely Lygies studios

The Lygies studios are local Greece, the situation, the facilities, the people.
We have had a fabulous week and enjoyed the apartments and the lovely pool ♥️.
The beach is walkable if your fairly fit. The restuaraunts and supermarket are also within walking distance.
There is a local bus to Argistoli and a local bakery.
Everything you need for a chilled holiday.

Amazing! Would come back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely perfect for us. I’ve stayed in Greece before so I knew what to expect. We loved it. The pool was never crowded, no sun bed wars. Perfect!
Our kids made friends and they loved it. Was the perfect base.
Will be back!
Yes we had a car and yes we paid for air con but all 100% worth it.
You can walk to the shop and restaurant Trapezaki it’s not that far.
The 4th bed was a camp bed and luckily my daughter took one for team and slept on it all week. But wouldn’t be comfortable for anyone over 8 so something to consider.

Does what it says on the tin.

It’s a room, with a pool. But it’s fabulous for the price. We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and soon got back to basics and enjoyed it
Tips would be to enjoy your stay - hire a car. Bring trainers due to location. Probably a few spare towels incase they miss a cleaning day.

In desperate need of maintenance

The studios a very clean, but the property is in desperate need of maintenance. The photos on the Tui app/website are years out of date.

You get what you pay for!

We stayed at Lygies for four nights and, fortunately, we’d done our research beforehand, unlike some reviewers. If you’re staying here, I’d definitely recommend hiring a car, but that’s the best way to explore the island anyway.
We were hardly in the apartment as we spent most of our time out exploring, and we didn’t use the pool. All we wanted was a comfortable bed and an affordable base, and that’s exactly what we got.
Yes, the apartment is very basic, and there were a few minor issues. Our kitchen light didn’t work, we had a few ants in the room, and some fixtures and fittings could do with being replaced. However, we knew exactly what we were booking, and for the price we paid, we really couldn’t complain.
The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the balcony was a great size, and we had a lovely view. We normally stay in 4 or 5-star hotels, so we were a little apprehensive about booking such a last-minute budget break, but we genuinely had a lovely stay.
We’d happily return. As long as you arrive with realistic expectations, Lygies offers great value for money.
