This resort is fantastic! The services, guides, and staff are all top-notch. They remember your name and are always ready to help. I even managed to get my camera buoyancy sorted out by them. I’ll definitely be back!

Lembeh Resort - A Great Place for a Great Diving Trip
Lembeh is the best place in the world for macro SCUBA diving and Lembeh Resort is the place to stay. The diving operation is first class - it is efficient, runs on time, pays great attention to safety, and their guides are great macro spotters. The boats are important components for great diving and theirs are set up so well with comfortable covered space and great access to the water. The boat captains do an amazing job of quickly picking people up in just the right spot. We were coming from diving elsewhere and Lembeh's folks were able to resolve both a gear problem and a camera problem.
The Resort has a variety of different accommodations and all of them are spotless and the ones we've stayed in are luxurious. The food and entire restaurant staff are just wonderful. There always are Indonesian and western options. Everyone always has a smile.
We will be returning to Lembeh Resort next year (the 3rd year out of the last 4). That says it all.

outstanding!
The Lembeh Resort is outstanding regarding service, food, organisation, diving, relaxation!
The bungalows are very spacious and clean, although the bathroom could be bigger in comaprison with the size of sleeping and living room.
The food is just excellent! The staff is very friendly and professionel!
Diving is fantastic! The organisation of the groups and divesites is very good! The guides know all the critters by latin name, this is just amazing! There is a good cameraroom and a camera shop where you will recive knowledgeable help of any kind! Unfortunately, I did not know, that there is a photo-pro to referr to, this should be told (altough there is a written information).
Hopefully I will come back to that wonderful resort!

Amazing Dive destination for the underwater photographer in your life
We just finished our second visit to Lembeh Resort. Our first stay was just as Covid was ending at the end of 2022. In a rare instance, we decided while we were there that we needed to return.
Lembeh strait is a macro photographer's dream destination and Lembeh Resort caters to the critter seeking crowd. There is an authorized Backscatter Underwater Video & Photo reseller on site with a resident photo pro and other help for your every underwater photography need.
The resort recently underwent some great upgrades - the dive area is new and improved with superb showers and the dive locker area is larger and updated. The camera room has been re-done and is super comfortable for a multitude of underwater photo enthusiasts from the simple to the most complex. Plenty of outlets available for your charging needs. The dive center was also given an update and the friendly staff is ready to meet your every request.
We requested our private dive guide from our last visit and received superb personal attention. We also had a private boat each day - and if you can go that way - I strongly recommend it. We made a day trip to Bankga island for some out of the strait diving on some amazing corals and walls/pinnacles. The guide showed us all the critters - we saw mimic ocotpus, coconut octopus, mototi octopus, a variety of cuttlefish, many seahorses from common to the various pygmy varieties. And nudis galore!
Of course lembeh is a muck diving area - so there is sometimes limited visibility and some challenges with plastic pollution, however the resort is engaged with the local community through the Lembeh Foundation and they are engaging the children and communities to educate and show the need to keep the oceans clean and preserved.
Even in the strait there are areas with amazingly healthy coral reefs. The warm water here does not seem to bother most of the coral species and we were treated to many very healthy areas.
They are also offering blackwater dives - which given our experience in Hawaii and other places, was quite a treat to see some different animals on the blackwater or 'bonfire' dive.
It's not all about the diving either. The resort has recently completed their spa - and we were fortunate to have some nice massages and they offer other spa treatments. There are land tours available to the national park - however we are all about the diving
Last and most definitely not least, the food remains amazing at the resort. The chefs make superb dishes every day. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style with a dinner menu to choose from on four courses. Truly impressive food here. They have also added a new roof top bar across from the dining room over the gift shop - this provides an additional space to hang out and have a drink or eat your meal.
Overall another truly impressive, superb and amazing experience at Lembeh Resort. We cannot recommend them strongly enough - from the staff, to the food, to the diving, and more - you will not be disappointed.
