Siargao Pacifico, lets go back to basic.

the only DOT ACCREDITED resort in the area.
For more than half the price of resorts/ accommodations you can find in General Luna, consider a getaway where only the basic of necessities can be found.
Bamboo Garden can be found in Pacifico San Isidro where more locals enjoy the waves than the tourists. The rooms are budget type, with private shower and toilet.
No A/C here, enjoy the natural sea breeze. You can find the owner Georg, his wife and daughter who is very laid-back, just enjoying island life.
At night, there are tons of hermit crabs you can play with. Don’t harm them. Also, mosquitoes who are always present along with rich nature. Be sure to bring off lotion with you.
They have this beautiful deck where you can enjoy cold beer while watching the surfers ride the waves, enjoy a snack or a full meal. I can vouch that this is the best place to watch the sunrise.
There’s also wifi from time to time.

Great location, lovely cottages, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean

Simple, but clean cottages with mosquito nets. The bathrooms were clean, loved their natural design. Be careful to use organic products only since the water just washed out into the ground. Our cottage was closest to the beach, if you can't sleep with the sound of the ocean, ask for cottage on the garden side, not beach side. Surf instructors and rental surfboards on spot, and the surf spot is right in front of the resort. WiFi provided at the bar, but our cottage was close to the bar, so we could use it in our cottage as well.
Service was provided during the day, no night time reception. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Laid-back atmosphere, hammocks and chill out area in the common parts of the resort.

WOW

Nice view. Just like a painting when you sit on the porch. Follow the day go by on the beach. Look and enjoy your day on the beach with your surfboard. Just enjoy

Great if you don't mind rough island life

Pinky is awesome, great customer service from her.
The beach is mostly quite and there is good waves there, the property has a good view point straight onto the beach.
Food is fantastic here, seriously amazing, someone needs to give the chef an award!
Room required some updates and repairs, some of the floors where close to falling through, one of the fans didn't work.
The mosquito net for the double bed would of had a better fit for a single instead of double. Bring good repellent!
Be careful about getting a room close to the road as there was bikes throughout the night driving through loudly.

Great for the price and location.

We stayed here and found it to be a perfect place to get away and relax away from the hustle and bustle of General Luna. The resort is nothing fancy and doesn't really have to be with its amazing position right in front of the break. Surf instructors hang out right in front of the hotel and you can just jump when you feel like it. Rooms are simple with a bed and a fan. We were a bit worried because we had our flights canceled due to a typhoon and the resort didn't seem to want to move our dates even though it was out of our control, but once we got there we met the owner and he was a super cool guy about the whole thing. Highly recommend.
