Highly recommended

Hotel Paul Otto is a small quiet hotel with a lot of charm.
The room (incl. Bathroom) is large, clean and well equipped , with attention to detail . Ours even with large terrace. The room door is sooo beautiful.
The breakfast is perfectly adequate,
the whole staff very friendly and helpful and
The car was very secure in the parking garage , in the cordoned-off backyard.
The restaurant Distille is highly recommended.
The location of the hotel is perfect in the middle of Görlitz's old town.
Thanks for the pleasant stay.

Nice and new

Stayed 3 nights and hotel is in an old historic building but you would never know it. Beautiful hardwood floors, clean and modern rooms. Hairdryer in bathroom with rainshower and wand shower with heated towel rack. Not much other room amenities. No a/c, no clock, no mini fridge or microwave. They do have a safe in room. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Lots of motion sense lights in hallways. Lights in room only work when key is in a special holder. Key ring also is used for main hotel door as it is always locked. Jewish bath only open certain hours so we never had a chance to see it. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and Poland. Good breakfast (self serve) 7:30 to 10am.

Budget hotel in a beautiful town

It is a typical budget hotel. Clean and conveniently located near a landmark cathedral and 100 m walk to Niesse river which also Polish border. Nice place to spend quite evening after a hectic day either from business activities or sight-seeing. It is almost a heritage hotel, quite old but with modern furnishing. The restaurant is good with a limited menu of local cuisine. Main attraction is open air restaurant serving local beer. on the down side, the wi-fi doesn't work properly and it is very difficult to find staff. otherwise expect a pleasant stay at very good price.

Urban chique in in beautiful small town

On the edge of the old town lies this hotel, in a carefully renovated large old building. We had a large comfortable room with much visible history and a large free-standing bath as a romantic touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but they seem to work mainly in the restaurant so you have to approach them to get the hotelservices including check-in. Lovely hotel and very good value for money.

Nice little hotel

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our visit to Gorlitz. The hotel was very nice and easy walk to restaurants and shops. Our room was newly renovated, all furnishings and amenities were nicely done. Wifi was inconsistent.
